Perfect cabin for a trip to Iceland! It was small but that's what we were expecting from the description, and the space was enough for our needs. The host was very quick to respond anytime we had a question. Would definitely recommend!

Our family of 6 had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved that there was a great walking path just up the hill behind us and the town was an easy walk or short drive. There's a Bonus grocery store close by and great restaurants (try the flights of beer at Olverk!). It was a great base for exploring the sights on the Golden Circle. We loved trying out the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge while watching the birds. It really could not have been more perfect. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Bjorn's place was in a wonderful location and just what our family of 5 needed. We ran into some logistical difficulties (mainly with our car) and Bjorn was very responsive and flexible to our plight. He responded to every email - often in minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Excellently located for short drive to most key attractions within the golden circle. Very quiet and away from the main towns so perfect for seeing the northern lights. Spacious modern house with everything we need. Dóróthea and Baldur were perfect hosts and very responsive. We must come back here!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is so beautiful - we loved walking along the beach and taking in the views. Watching the seal in the water, the birds and all of the little sea creatures at low tide was a treat. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable as well. We loved relaxing in the hot pot in the evenings while enjoying the view and listening to the birds! The area is amazingly beautiful. We loved to drive around the fjord - and even spotted a whale 2 different times! The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very responsive and helpful with the couple of questions that we had. I highly recommend staying here!

Fjola's hut was fantastic in a quiet country setting, beautiful surroundings & close to attractions. Very clean, communicated quickly. So peaceful & relaxing. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for having us. Regards 😀😃🙂

Perfect stay in every regard. This place is a special little slice of paradise in Iceland. Very obviously well cared for, and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The setting and the views are just spectacular. The extra time and effort required to get here are absolutely worth it. My family did not want to leave. Of the many rentals we’ve stayed in over decades of extensive travels this goes on a short list of one of the best.

This cottage has a wonderful view of the lake. It was very comfortable for four adults and a toddler. We were at peace listening to nature and watching the lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. The location is very close to the Golden Circle's must-see locations. The closest town was an 8-minute drive and had great local restaurants. I highly recommend this stay.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Paulina nám předem poslala jasné a podrobné instrukce k příjezdu i odemčení domu, což velmi usnadnilo příjezd. Strávili jsme tu krásné tři dny. Lokalita je klidná a ideální pro odpočinek, kuchyň je dobře vybavená, s velkou lednicí. Ocenili jsme i milé detaily, jako základní potraviny, čaj, kávu, kečup nebo připravené bačkory. V přízemí jsou dvě ložnice s manželskými postelemi, v podkroví je sice snížený strop, ale i tak se dá pohodlně pohybovat. Pobyt u Pauliny mohu vřele doporučit!

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

One of our memorable accommodation is this one with its very lovely cabin inside and out. It’s so cozy we dont want to leave! Everything we need is right there and it’s spotless. We learned of the story of the cabin and it became a more special stay. Thank you for allowing us to arrive early and all the suggestions we can do around the area. It was easy communicating with you and we had a fantastic stay!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Ragnars Haus!! Es war alles wie beschrieben und besonders die Ruhe und der Blick war einmalig… auch unsere zwei Mädels (8 und 9 Jahre) fanden es super und hatten nie Langweile ☺️ auch die Kommunikation war immer schnell und unkompliziert

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was quaint with lots of character in a beautiful setting. It looked just like the photos. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and the home was charming and perfect for our family of 5. We loved the hot tub! Sveinn communicated all instructions perfectly for a flawless stay! The location of this cottage is perfect for exploring the south coast with an easy quick drive to Skogafoss and Seljalandfoss and less than an hour from Vik! We had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend. We would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Iceland.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in diesem Haus und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hatte für uns eine super Lage, sodass wir unsere Ausflüge wie geplant durchführen konnten. Am Besten haben uns der Ausblick aus dem Wintergarten und der Hot-Pot gefallen. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt.

This was a fantastic cabin. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the view was amazing to wake up to. The hot tub is no longer included in the cabin (there are several hot springs in the area though) but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement au sud de l'Islande ! L’emplacement est magnifique, en pleine nature, avec une vue dégagée sur les montagnes et un calme très appréciable. C’est un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer tout en étant proche de nombreux sites naturels à visiter. Le logement était très propre, bien aménagé et parfaitement équipé. On s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. La décoration est, chaleureuse, et typique du style islandais. L’hôte a été très accueillant(e) et disponible, avec de bons conseils pour les activités et les lieux à découvrir dans les environs. Un grand merci pour cette belle expérience – nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter !

This is an incredible find! The cabin is easily located off Hwy 1 and was only a few minutes from Skogafoss. (We ate at their hotel bistro one night and it was nice and they accommodated children.) The location is a good option if you don't want to be right in Vik or pay the higher prices there. It was an easy drive to get into town from the cabin. The space was incredible - three bedrooms and could easily fit up to 6 adults. We had two adults and two children and were able to spread out. My kids (and us adults too) loved waking up and seeing the lambs outside the window. The kitchen was well-equipped. We did find it to be a little chilly one night, and there are not any radiators or thermostat to adjust the temperature, so they did bring us a space heater. We would absolutely recommend and would stay here again.

The most beautiful stunning place we have stayed at! To have a river and waterfalls in the back of the house was magical! The house was perfect and we loved the decor! I can’t recommend Mehrejar stunning place enough! He was the best host! Will definitely stay there again! Linda

My stay here was amazing, it was very private and had beautiful fields surrounding it. Maja has a great host and very responsive to any needs i had while i was staying here. I will always try to book this place if i ever visit Iceland again!

We loved our short but sweet stay at this peaceful location. Would definitely return on another trip! A perfect location for Golden Circle or heading further south. Loved it and the surroundings!

Hildur was an incredible host! The Kot was neat and clean and had everything we needed. Visiting from another country Hildur gave us suggestions of activities and restaurants to visit that we did not know about and they were definitely wins! She was also very quick to respond to all our messages and accommodating to our needs.

Guðfinna’s place was the only one where we stayed two nights on our Iceland trip, and it was so worth it. The surroundings included horses, sheep, birds, and great views. The house itself was private and had everything one could ask for. In addition, Guðfinna and her daughter were friendly on all occasions during our stay.
