Vacation rentals with a patio in Lastra a Signa

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniele's and truly appreciated our host Teona who gave wonderful recommendations. The apartment is within walking distance of many restaurants/cafes in a local neighborhood, but if you are looking for the tourists areas, the walk is 20-30 mins. Lovely area.

The apartment is located near the Cascine, a 5-minute walk from the Tramway to the Center. It is small but has everything to feel good and the location is ideal for visiting Florence. For us, it was also perfect for the Concert at the Visarno Arena, which is within walking distance. The check-in was uncomplicated and Marta was very helpful in letting us do the late check-out, we appreciated not having to leave the apartment immediately at 11:00 a.m. but in the afternoon... thus avoiding being in the city in the heat since our bus left in the evening. We'll be back!

Great location. Being close to the train station means you can quickly drop your bags and start exploring. Apartment well decorated with beautiful kitchen and eating space. Walking distance to all the attractions.

Short walk to the city center, but still private and quiet. The balcony is such a selling point of this place. My partner and I wish we could have stayed for a week or more, we felt so at home. We hope to come back next year!

WOW, WOW, WOW! My partner and I stayed here for our good friends wedding week, and Serena, her family, and the local community were above and beyond magical, friendly, and helpful. This is a must STAY, if you want to base your trip out of the tourism chaos of Florence, and be up on the hillside — with stunning views of the city, and history dating back to the Romans in the fourteenth century. It’s an incredible village in Fiesole and area. The space is really great, simple layout, with modern merging with old stone and luxurious features. The bathroom was squeaky clean. I really can’t say enough about this gem of a host, and Airbnb!

The accomodation is well maintained, clean and everything was according to the advertisement. A perfect location to explore Florence. However the environment and the apartment itself is very noisy due to thin walls and loud neighbours.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

A quiet, impeccably furnished heaven. Every need provided for, slept tremendously in the quiet, loved the tiny village two shops and the backyard an oasis from a busy life. Thank you Leonardo. We cannot wait to return.

The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was even better than expected – very clean, well-equipped, and beautifully located. You could tell that the hosts really thought of everything. We especially appreciated how spotless everything was – it felt truly comfortable and welcoming from the first moment. Incredible townhouse located just a few kilometers from the busy city center. It was nice to be able to sit out and relax in the private courtyard. The large kitchen was fully equipped and there were even coffee pods and small cakes available on the counter. Tom's communication was detailed and very responsive. We felt completely at home the moment we entered. Excellent value for the price, thank you, Tom!

The accommodation is very well presented, beautifully located in the Rural Tuscan landscape amongst nature yet only a short commute to Florence. Facilities are ideal. AC, One double bedroom with en-suite a second large bedroom, bathroom, lounge, dining area and kitchen. Outdoor dining area. We love our coffee and the kitchen came equipped with a wonderful coffee machine that uses tea-bag like pods (few supplied) that makes extraordinary espresso. ❤️ Outside the terrace has wonderful views over a Tuscan valley. The pool is ideal and salt water which we love. Perfect for outdoor living too. To get to Florence is a breeze. Driving just 10 minutes to Lastra a Signa train station (loads of free parking); then a couple of Euros and two stops on the train later you emerge in the heart of Florence, a short walk away from the city attractions. Great place for peace, quiet and beautiful mountain view from the private garden of this historic chapel. Our hosts, Titti and Antonio, were attentive and extremely helpful in our brief moment of crisis with our rental car issue. We had a beautiful time and a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this gorgeous property for your personal sanctuary with nature.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The location was perfect - walkable to everything in Florence. The host was very quick to respond and very polite. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean, modern and great for a group of 6. It is a lot of stairs - this was actually a positive thing for us, as we needed a little exercise to burn off all of the pizza consumption haha. But be prepared that you will need to get your suitcases up / down the stairs. Overall we loved this spot and definitely would book it again!

Daniela's place in Florence was the perfect balance of a quiet neighborhood and being close to the city center. The apartment was comfortable and clean and was only a 2-3min walk to the tram that takes you right to the city center of Florence where all the iconic sights and food can be reached. The apartment also had had all the necessary amenities for a few nights stay. The laundry machine and drying rack were easily available and were a much appreciated amenity. There was also a lockable, enclosed one car garage reserved for the apartment that we left our car in during our stay. The neighborhood also felt very safe and quiet even at night. Daniela was a great host who was very responsive and friendly and helpful with everything we needed. If you find yourself looking for a place outside the busy city center to stay while in Florence I highly recommend Danielas place!

This AirBnb was so charming and in a perfect location. We enjoyed some downtime in the garden area after a long day of walking. Deanna was extremely helpful and made recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. She was very communicative and helpful.

We cannot speak highly enough of Fabrizio’s accommodations. We made a last-minute booking after deciding to spend a few days in Florence during our journey to Rome. Fabrizio responded promptly and was able to arrange an early check-in for us on short notice. The apartment was spotless, and all amenities exceeded our expectations. Its location was ideal. Should we return to Florence, this would unquestionably be our preferred place to stay each time!

For those who want to be around the center of everything while retaining a peace of mind, I highly recommend Alessandra’s place. A few highlights: 1. Peace and quietness even in the middle of the happening: Florence is becoming a touristy place, but the place sits on the highest floor so you are removed from the noisy streets and overbearing crowds. Yes, you’ll have to walk up the stairs with luggage, but I think it’s totally worth it. 2. Local recommendation and genuine hospitality: Alessandra was super helpful with recommendations, helping us book a taxi on the day of our departure. She also accommodates our travel schedule 3. Unique place with personal touch: we loved the place, from decorations to amenities. Beyond sleeping and showing, we also enjoyed cooking light meals and sitting at the outdoor balcony in the early mornings to listen to the birds

Sabina’s place is immaculate and in a great location for all the main attractions of Pisa. We were able to walk easily to and from the apartment and there is a lift for carrying bags up and down the stairs. Sabina communicated quickly and was very helpful. We’d highly recommend the apartment and will be staying again next week.
