Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lapland

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

A very good apartment, only a short walk to the city and main attractions. The apartment was clean and well equipped.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Everything was really good. Easy to find, easy communication and a relaxing environment. Also the sauna was a big plus. We can really recommend staying here :)

It was really nice to stay at Roland's, he very kindly welcomed us and the guest cottage was excellent.

We rented both apartments in this semi-detached house for Easter. Our daughter's family of 2 adults and three children in the bigger and Grandma and Pappa in the smaller. We were brilliantly satisfied and the surroundings were peaceful,not a long distance to shops and services about, 2km. Outdoor terrain right from the door,skiing, jogging,Frisbee trails, etc . Cute, clean and dog-friendly accommodation with a nice garden that you can share. If we had any questions, we always got quick answers and good recommendations. The visit was worth it for us. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

Heli and Janne were really kind and nice. We especially appreciated that the apartment was beautifully decorated and selected high-quality items. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in, the pillows and blankets were wonderfully fluffy. Check-in and arrival was easy. I highly recommend staying with Helin and Janne!

We can only speak of this apartment in superlatives. Super clean, super classy loggia, super large living area, super furnished kitchen, super large bathroom and super sauna. Here you can easily endure it for a very long time. The landlady responds almost in real time, car in front of the door, Christmas village, shopping center, highway a few minutes away. We can only say that it is worth staying here. Thank you!

The perfect place. Light and airy decorated beautifully and perfectly set up. After a month of doing Airbnb we finally found a place that was perfect. Mika communicated well was most helpful with an early check in and late check out. Washing machine was a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed including salt and pepper and 2 types of coffee. The biscuits and sweets was a nice added extra.

It was pretty clean & in a very good location.

The accommodation is of course recommended in winter due to the location in the ski resort but also in summer for outdoor activities. Although it is small, everything necessary is available. The communication with Ilari was straightforward.

We had a wonderful stay at Johanna's place. The apartment was very nicely furnished with attention to detail and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The area is quiet, private and great for watching the Northern Lights. At Johanna's, we saw the strongest northern lights of our lives. Johanna herself was a very likeable host.

kiki's place is about 15mins walk to the city centre (~1km). it was okay for us to walk to and fro daily (had to clock in those steps! 😂). otherwise, the stay was amazinggggg!! her place felt so warm & cozy. there was also a file with instructions and even recommendations on the activities that we can do here! it's also a short walk away from the museum—Arktikum.

Had a wonderful stay with Nina. They were so flexible both in check in and check out. The place was quite centrally located very easy with nearby resturants and groceries. The apartment was super comfortable and the beds were super good. we enjoyed the stay and the only pity was i couldnt stay longer

I had a great experience wirh this Airbnb. Joni is very helpful and always reachable. The location of this apartment is great, very close to the city center, a mall with a supermarket, and to the Arktikum. Everything was clean and there was a folder in the room with flyers for the different kinds of activities you can book in Rovaniemi and other useful information. If I come back to Rovaniemi, this will be my first choice of accomodation.
