Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lapland

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka welcomed us personally. The house is located close to the road and is easily accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka organized cross-country skis and snowshoes for us at a good price and marked a trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the Northern Lights twice. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

Lovely old cottage renovated with good taste in a quiet location. The chickens were running around in the yard and the owner was really nice. The evening sun shone beautifully inside and in the morning we went to the sauna. Really neat and all the amenities were found. I have to come again!

A beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Would love to return one day.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

It was a great experience and we enjoyed our stay a lot!! It’s very near everything but still far enough that you have your peace. You can even see the northern lights from the sauna. Communication was also great and we’ll be considering a second visit.

Thank you for a great stay with you! It was great! We stayed there for five days, could see aurora lights every night and had a lot of fun exploring the area. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus and thanks to some preparation we were able to cook and eat excellently in the well-equipped kitchen. An absolute highlight was also the lunch cooked by the residents, followed by bingo. We would like to say a big thank you. It was very cozy with you!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

A nice little rustic wooden hut in the middle of the national park. The location is excellent, you can walk to the supermarket and restaurants as well as to the ski slope or beautiful hiking trails in no time. The cabin was clean, bathroom and sauna are great. The living and sleeping area is rather functional, everything is quite cramped. The kitchen could possibly use a little renovation. But we still had 2 great days and for our stay it was perfectly fine. I would recommend that sensitive sleepers bring a sleep mask and earplugs. The house cannot be darkened in the summer and there is a very loud ticking clock that can rob you of sleep.

Beautiful stay at the place in Miia. What a nice apartment, we would have stayed much longer because we felt so good there. Miia was very welcoming and we were free to come whenever we wanted. Great activities are offered all around the accommodation, it was really convenient and ideal for us. Thanks for everything!

Thank you Marianne for your hospitality. Cozy cottage, perfect for 4 people. The equipment of the cottage was very convenient, it had everything you needed for a week-long stay. Comfortable beds, a place to hang out in the afternoon, the internet works impeccable. Good location of the cottage, off the beaten path, quiet and just 20 min. walk to the shop, restaurants, bars and other attractions of the town. We didn't have a car, but that didn't bother us. We went to the cross-country trails in a few minutes. Marianne advised us the best way to get from the airport, and told us how the weather was coming. When we had any questions before or during our stay, she always responded within a few minutes. Marianne's place was a very good place to stay for a week. Highly recommend! Thanks, and best regards.

This place was an easy 10/10 for us! Pure luxury, insanely comfortable, and so good we considered "accidentally" missing our flight. You can step outside with your skis or sled and head straight into the forest. The bed? Hands down the best one we slept in during our Finland trip. We loved the back patio with its huge glass windows and cozy seating, perfect for relaxing. The sauna was amazing, and the dry cleaning machine and washer were a lifesaver. The apartment is modern, packed with every amenity, and honestly, you may never want to leave. We also stayed closer to town and in a fancy glass ice cube, but this still won by a landslide. If you're coming to Levi, stay here. Just make sure you have a car. Huge thanks to our awesome, responsive host!!! When we come back to Levi I guarantee you we will be staying in this place!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Eija‘s place and were able to make most of our winter trip to Finland. The accommodation is very cosy and perfect for a relaxing holiday! We really enjoyed staying there and are looking forward to returning!

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

A cozy and peaceful place.

Firstly, a big thank you to Riku’s. Even before we arrived he was very kind & helpful. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly. As soon as you drive into the area it’s like winter wonderland. The house is even nicer than the photos! Oh the view from the warmth of the cosy house was such a treat. So super private too. We hired a car & picked it up from the airport so it was very easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable & so were the pillows! My husband & son enjoyed the hot coals in the sauna at the house . Near bye there is a natural ice bath (March) nearby. We did so many activities. Husky ride was wonderful. A beginners country ski lesson & we all loved the snow habitants too. We also visited the reindeer. We didn’t see the Northern Lights but to be honest the whole trip was so amazing that it didn’t matter.

There were two of us for 12 nights in Lokka. The place is exactly as Markku described it. Super nice, quiet location and a direct view of the lake. You can go for a walk nearby. For the day trips, however, you have to drive relatively far, but the shopping facilities are easily accessible by car and can be easily combined with the excursions. Markku was always friendly, easy to reach and had many good tips for the area. Check-in and check-out are very quick and easy. The cottage is super well equipped, especially as far as the kitchen is concerned, everything you need for cooking or baking is there. The sauna and the stove are of course a highlight. Everything is very well explained in a folder. Mikko takes care of things on site if necessary, he was also very friendly and quick to arrive when we had problems with the door lock. Overall, we felt very comfortable and were happy to come back!

Clear instructions and great location. Skiing is close to the cottage and the ski slopes are a short drive away. An atmospheric cottage.

Honestly one of the best airbnbs I have stayed at. Breathtaking views, super responsive and nice hosts. Saw the northern lights from the cabin itself it was amazing.

We had a wonderful time at Outi's place - the perfect Finnish countryside retreat!
