Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

What a wonderful place this was to stay a few days. The house has all the comforts. We were able to use the BBQ, Sauna and all the other facilities of the house! Including the also highly valued Sonos installation. In addition, the house is located in a quiet but beautiful area where it is also possible to take an evening walk. Finally, we want to thank Nicklas for his quick and pleasant communication. We would definitely like to come back here in the future!

We felt comfortable right away at Jana and Jonas' place. The beautiful large property invites you to play and linger, our daughters (2 years and 4 years) had something to discover everywhere. The canoe and sauna were the icing on the cake for us. Next time we would definitely stay longer.

We had such a relaxing stay in Ane’s rustic cabin surrounded by her beautiful garden and typical Swedish nature-just idyllic. The outdoor kitchen was a nice experience and we enjoyed to rent both apartments, so the kids had plenty of space to play inside too. Thanks for accommodating us, Ane and for the very supportive communication before arrival and during our stay. We appreciated the flexible check-in a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalita and Matthijs' place. It's set in the woods with peaceful and quiet surroundings. The cabin itself was lovely and had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s located on the same property as the family’s main house, which is a bit closer than the photos might suggest — but it still felt private and peaceful. Since the cabin is off the grid, it was actually very helpful to have the hosts nearby. They were super helpful with things like water, firewood, and any questions we had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and relaxing getaway!
