The Old Steam House

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi!

It’s part of our converted barn but the area we let is for guests only and is totally private. It has two bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. 2 conservatory’s , Fitted kitchen/ living/ dining area. The Rook's Nest shepherd's hut offers up a unique holiday experience. In a beautiful setting it is a delightful cosy but bright small space. An ideal base for exploring the west of Cornwall. Provided within this very compact space is a comfy double bed with proper mattress, seating area, oven and hob, fridge, hot and cold water, bluetooth stereo, TV and woodburner with logs provided. There is a separate building in the garden - a bar - which you are welcome to use.
