Miguel and his wife are very welcoming and warm people. Although slightly outside the city center, the house is located in a beautiful wooded area. Here you have a room to yourself for the price of a dormitory bed.

The apartment is very well located, has a supermarket in front, is close to the bus stop of FlixBus, the train station, and also the historic center of Coimbra (Largo da Portagem, Santa Cruz Monastery, Ponte Santa Clara, and others). The photos of the ad match the reality, clean, well-equipped apartment (with stove, microwave, electric jar) and with washing machine for shared use on each floor.

We stayed almost 3 months. We really liked the apartment, which is basically as shown in the photos and description. The host was always quick to respond and always attentively answered our questions and requests. It was easy to go down to the lower part of the city and there were buses to return (Bus Line 4). The surroundings are safe and quiet, although you can hear sounds from neighboring apartments and some sounds from the surroundings, which for us was not a problem. In March and April there was a lot of rain, which greatly increased the humidity in the apartment, but the host solved the problems we had. We would stay in the apartment again. We really enjoyed staying in Coimbra!
