Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lakeshore

Quiet, clean, spacious, well-furnished and equipped. Very close to beautiful Lake Erie, Point Pelee National Park, Hillman Marsh and Wheatley Provincial Park. Ideal base for nature lovers and bird watchers chasing spring and fall migration, as we were. Though we were two friends sharing, this home would be great for a family or 2 to 3 couples. Thanks Ryan -- we'll be back!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at Alice’s lovely cottage. It is very clean and well appointed with everything we needed to make all our meals. The lake views from the back yard are pretty and tranquil. We had a fire our first evening there and enjoyed a nice lightening show over the lake later in the night. We would not hesitate to recommend Alice’s cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Christina is indeed a super host! She gave very clear instructions and house rules so we had a smooth check in/check out and stay. We appreciated how responsive and accommodating she was in anticipating the variety of ages we’d have in our family, ensuring activities we all could enjoy. We used her local recommendations when we went around town. The beach access was also perfect for us to enjoy some relaxing time together. Definitely would recommend Christina’s lovely home for your stay in Kingsville!

We had a fantastic stay at Nik’s place! The property was perfect for both adults and kids. We loved the pool and BBQ setup—it made for some great outdoor family time. The pool table was a fun bonus for evenings, and the firepit by the pond created such a relaxing vibe. The kids especially enjoyed the giant tic-tac-toe game! One of the highlights was the amazing view of the patty field—it was spacious, scenic, and made the whole experience even better. Nik was a great host—responsive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and have fun. Thanks again, Nik!

We loved our little getaway to Scott and Jennifer’s beautiful property! It has everything you need to have a fun, comfortable and peaceful weekend - we felt right at home and loved the pool and hot tub with beautiful views. We also brought our pup who was a big fan of the fenced yard and exploring every nook. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Deborah's place was as expected, great location. accommodations were great. Very clean, easy to find (Deborah's directions were very clear). Definitely would stay again!

Such a big space, bigger than the photos show but cozy at the same time. Space for everyone to do their own thing. Everything is on one level with a couple of stairs leading to the well stocked bathroom. A great and unique place to stay.

Host was very responsive, helpful, and kind. The space was perfect. I couldn’t be happier with my stay. I highly recommend a visit and I will be back.

Awesome spot in a very walkable neighborhood. The building is quite old but the space was very clean and comfortable. The AC was nice and cold, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and extra shower supplies. I will definitely stay here again.

This was our second time visiting Allison and Anthony’s place. We love that the location is close to and easy to get to downtown Detroit, while being just outside of the hustle and bustle to feel quiet and peaceful. Their place has everything you need, and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable! To top it off, they provide wonderful local recommendations for activities, shopping, art/architecture, restaurants, and hidden gems!

Jerald's place was amazing. Very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. Kayaking on the canals and out to the lake was relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boaters go by and the firepit area was cute and private. If you're thinking about staying here, just do it... you'll be happy you did! We can't wait to come back and stay 2 nights, 1 was not enough!

What a gorgeous and wonderful spot. This was my first time as well as my fiance's first time out this way, and it was so peaceful and serene that we cannot wait to come back. Our host was extremely responsive and quick to address any questions we had. This property felt like heaven on Earth. The view cannot be contended with. The attention to detail is wonderful. We truly felt like we could have stayed there forever. All of the windows open up nice and wide, and you can hear the waves all night while you sleep. I wish so badly we could have stayed longer! Stop your search right now and book it, you won't regret it!!

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.

Staying at Matthew's Place was a delightful experience for us. Nestled in the charm of the 1950s, this fishing cabin brims with character. It's cozy and quaint, yet it doesn't skimp on cleanliness or convenience. Located near the enchanting Village of Clarkston, it offers easy access to local neighborhoods and the downtown area on foot. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, swans, and turtles, provided a peaceful backdrop to our stay. Rick managed to catch a big large- mouth bass, which, in the spirit of catch and release, was returned to its aquatic home. We took advantage of the canoe for a gentle paddle on the lake. We brought our own life vests, though Mathew does provide everything we needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Matthew's Place to singles, couples, and small families looking for a quaint getaway with a touch of adventure.

The cozy cabin was clean, convenient location, you can sit on the back porch on the glider view of Lake Erie, pool table darts, checkers, fire ring, the sun porch was nice if you didn’t want to go outside for the view of Lake Erie!

The cottage was clean, cute and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
