Lone Butte Ranch-Cedar Post

KatrinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Cedar Post was by far our best Airbnb experience to date. The instructions to find the cabin were clear and helpful and we were able to find it without issue, even arriving in the dark. The cabin was clean & inviting. It felt like stepping into a furnished home, ready to be lived in. They’ve thought of everything you might need to make the stay comfortable. This location was secluded & scenic, and the proximity to Theodore Roosevelt National Park was so perfect. We spent most of our time exploring the Badlands, but it was great to come back “home” without feeling like we’d left what we came for. We loved exploring the cow trails & the buttes right in the cabin’s backyard. Being greeted by the cows & calves was an extra treat. They were respectful of our tendency to keep to ourselves, we never saw anyone else. But they did reach out to let us know the Northern Lights would be visible! We loved that there was fresh beef in the freezer & apparel available. Above & beyond!

Lone Butte Ranch-Horseshoe Cabin

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My two nephews and I were in a road trip and this was THE BEST stop on our way to Yellowstone from the East Coast. We spent two nights and wished we had time for a whole week. The adorable and spacious cabin was only 15-20 minutes to the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We all loved hanging at the cabin and enjoyed being on a ranch. We were there in late May and there were so many calves and blooming lilacs. We sat in the hot tub and star gazed at night, grilled out, and got some much needed rest in the super comfy beds. There were many little niceties the hosts provided such as good towels, snacks, ice, a well stocked kitchen, and so many other things. We all agreed we’d stay here again. We met a few people on the ranch and every one was welcoming and friendly.

Prairie Tiny Home near TRNP

BridgetRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The tiny home was the perfect place for our little family to enjoy Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The trailer park was very quiet and we had no neighbors mid-week. The unit itself was great and much larger than it appeared in photos. The kitchen was well stocked with brand new pots & pans. Would happily stay there again.
A sleeping area features a spacious bed with light blue and gray bedding, positioned under a wooden ceiling. Soft natural light filters through a nearby window covered by blue curtains, illuminating the warm wooden walls. A small lamp sits on a bedside table, adding gentle illumination.

Exactly what we hoped it would be…set in such a beautiful, peaceful place with horses, mule deer and longhorns roaming outside our windows; we were able to relax, take in the nearby activities of Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Rebecca was extremely accessible prior to and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone wishing to visit Medora.
