Lake Rabun fishing places to stay

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

I loved the house and the location. It's perfect for spending quality time with family or friends, without the stress of the city. I hope to return soon.

What an amazing home on the lakefront! Gorgeous views of the lake with multiple places to gather outside and take it all in. Besides spending time on the dock, we spent most of our time in the screened in "4 seasons" room enjoying coffee in the morning, meals throughout the day, cocktails at sunset, and playing games. Everything about our stay was a 5 star experience from the time we checked in until we left. Katie left clear instructions on how to check in along with some recommendations for the area. She was quick in resonding to inquiries and made us feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The ping pong table was a hit along with the kayaks on the dock. All were used frequently. It was an idyllic location and the perfect family getaway for our long weekend at the lake!

The lake house was even better than the pictures. The property grounds were beautiful and an easy walk down to the dock. Our kids had the best time swimming from the dock and kayaking in the cove. We brought our boat and I really appreciated the nice fendering on the dock. We would love to stay at Phillips house again in the future.

We will have to come back and visit this wonderful house and boat house in the summertime. I can only imagine how wonderful it is when you can enjoy sitting on the dock and soaking in this beautiful lake. We visited on probably the coldest weekend of the year, so we did not get to take full advantage of all the amenities. Everything was really nice and we had a very relaxing long weekend.

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

We have stayed at a lot of air bnb’s and this was one of our favorites! Gorgeous, super clean, and so much fun! There are many stairs leading down to the lake which was just fine for our young crew but may be difficult for anyone with physical limitations. Immaculate property with incredible hosts! Would stay here again for sure.

Private serene place with plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable beds and all the amenities you can think of! Very happy!

A last minute get away with the kids to do some kayaking and paddle boarding. Beautiful and peaceful clean lake. House very homey and comfortable. And we had no issues, but carrying kayaks and gear down that full stretch of steep stairs could be daunting. Definitely got a lot of stair steps in! The dock was awesome and well worth it.

An amazing Cabin style home uniquely furnished with art collection.. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room all around. Awesome big, round dining table...great for gatherings and games. Beautiful sunrises. Super well maintained. Our only challenge was ensuring the front door did not lock us out accidently...but its an amazingly beautiful stained glass double door. Kitchen is fully stocked with durable dishwares and all needed utensils. A very relaxing and inviting living room from which you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery and mountain views.

Our second stay here! Everything was again on point! Well supplied, very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful lake views! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home, that matched the pictures exactly. We were here just to unplug, as the weather was too cold to enjoy the lake, and the house was perfect for that. Gorgeous fireplaces, wonderful views, and a library of awesome books. My favorite part of the house were the windows that lined the entire top of the home. At night, we could see the stars while lying in bed. Very neat. I would definitely recommend this house.

If you love art, nature, and convenience book a stay at Mark of the Potter. We were there for three nights, but could easily have stayed for three weeks! The space is rustic yet modern and filled with artistic surprises everywhere you look. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in outside our own home. The towels were plentiful and plush. This home has a well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and it is ok not a short drive to several good restaurants. The layout caters to together time when wanted and personal space when you need a break. Give yourself a gift and book a stay at Mark of the Potter.

What a wonderful hidden gem! We loved our stay at the cabin. It was so homey and we appreciated all the little things, especially the comfortable bedding, dish detergent, sharp knives for prepping food, nice pans for cooking scrambled eggs, the games on the back porch and even the oven and range for cooking on the back porch. The photos do not do justice to how cool the back porch is and this is where we spent most of our time. The garden is so beautiful and it has inspired me to do more landscaping at my own home. We spent every evening out there and were fortunate to have glorious weather. We rented a pontoon from Hal’s which was a great way to see all the beautiful homes and boat docks on Lake Rabun. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

We loved this lakeside cabin. Both the cabin and exterior were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The screened outdoor patio was great for meals. We really enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub, as well. There is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Access to the cabin was easy. Sarah, our host, is an excellent communicator. We had a great family stay at this awesome house. We found the house well decorated and kept up nicely. It was very clean and the check-in/out instructions were detailed and helpful. It was close to multiple hiking trails and the house was very peaceful and secluded.

The perfect beautiful cabin! full of wonderful oddities that made the place extra special and extra magical, the mood lighting made it romantic. Perfect place to get cozy by the fireplace , the loft is cozy as well great place to read a book or take a nap. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed the cabin is well kept and clean ! Lesly was quick to respond even at a moments notice we saw 3 white tail deer.

Scotty was very friendly, fast responses and accommodating. The place was very peaceful and relaxing and the little stream running to the side of the house just made it. The perfect little getaway. Would perfect in the spring or early fall to see the changing of colors.

Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!
