Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Rainbow Cottage is sat on the banks of The River Tweed, it is so peaceful and tranquil. There is an abundance of birds that visit and we have a woodpecker who is a frequent visitor and quite special. The cottage is situated just a few mile from the Scottish Borders so is in an ideal spot to discover both the Borders and North Northumberland. Our bed is quirky and is a hideaway bed and our regulars love it. We have a conservatory for extra space which is super warm on sunny days.

Probably the best Air B&B we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! Fabulous scenery with wildlife outside your door. Welcome pack included roses, wine and the best home made lemon drizzle cake we’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately we had to leave a couple of days early due to my health, but we will be back at some stage, that’s for sure.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. It was truly incredible! The host, James, is genuinely so kind and thoughtful. He always responded quickly and when we got in a pinch, he was proactive and super helpful. The loft is so beautiful - I wish I could live there. It is an easy walk to anything you want to do in the city. It’s close to everything and in a gorgeous part of town. If you’re coming to Edinburgh, you MUST stay here. It is truly breathtaking and exactly as promised online!!

this is our second - but not last stay. Lovely peaceful location, spacious accommodation, with kind and friendly hosts next door. Well equipped and interior has charm and character. It's off a quiet road, near the base of Yeavering Bell. The whole area exudes an atmosphere of ancient history and magic. The accommodation is so well placed for visiting all places of local interest and many wonderful walks. I would strongly recommend this for lovers of the countryside and walking. If you seek a peaceful stay, this is the place!

Great place for a day or 2 away from everything. Lovely view of the lake which is literally opposite your lodge. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice secluded overnight. Hot tub was amazing. Perfect temperature and big enough to fit 5 people if needed. Can't fault it at all and would definitely return. Local shops only 5-10 mins away for everything you need.
