The pictures did not do this place justice, as it was more beutiful than the pictures represented. It was clean, vary large with many amenities and lots of water toys "several kayaks , a canoe, beach toys, life vest, and even a couple blow up tubes. There was a nice grill and firepit and Amanda even left the kiddoes smores fixing, which they enjoyed very much. We were there for Easrer weekend, and there did not seem to be anyone in any of the other cabins along the lake, so it was very private, which we appreciated. Give this place a try, and you won't be disappointed.

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

We had a great time. The views are beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a large group. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with a fun lake theme. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids had a wonderful time at the private lake! They paddled around the lake in their floats and played on the sandy shady beach. It was a bit warm to try out the hot tub and the fire table on the porch but we hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of all the amenities this house has to offer.

This place was an absolute gem. It was really, REALLY clean. I think the hosts emphasize how much they clean, and it really shows. It was conveniently located to Asheville. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

Absolutely loved the time we spent there! Although it was only two days, it was an amazing two days! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! The home was amazing and everything was perfect!! Would highly recommend!!

This home was absolutely beautiful! From the cozy decor to the comfortable beds, clean linens/towels, and home—plus the babbling creek right outside! I could not recommend this space more. The location is great if you're looking to be out and away but within a reasonable drive into town/cities (Black Mountain is about 15-20 minutes, Asheville is about 40-45 minutes). Jason and his family were proactive in communication, extremely helpful, and left very clear instructions for their home. As a dog owner, the provided dog towels, blanket cover, and bowls were such a helpful touch that made the stay that much better. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Major highlights: Very clean, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful.

This place was perfect! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. It smelled good, looked good and was really clean! The hot tub was easy to use and we took advantage each night the weather allowed. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely stay again! Graham was very responsive and helpful. We had not a single thing we didn’t like or wished was different. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Oh yes, easy storage to unpack and “live” here for a week!

Absolutely fun little get away area! I was there for my birthday weekend and it was nice and relaxing. Landon is very proactive with reccomendations and making sure you've got everything you could need. Would reccomend

Traci’s place was great. It is very close to the Omni grove inn, and is located in a nice private neighborhood. Traci was very responsive throughout. 5 stars!

Dawn and Ron were amazing hosts! They were very responsive and gave amazing suggestions for our girls trip. Pippin and Frodo gave us so much joy! I would highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to enjoy some peace and relaxation but convince of experiencing all that Asheville has to offer.

Annual trip with my brother. This was our second stay, and it was as great as it was last year. It’s just a super lovely space on a surprisingly secluded property. Sitting porch is gorgeous. The backyard is gorgeous. Hot tub is clean and inviting. Location is good (walking distance for lots of West Asheville stuff). Mike was very engaged helping us coordinate dates and attentive to every bit of communication. We’re grateful for the lovely base camp.

The place was great, even though it was a very quick stay. The mattresses were very comfortable, place was clean & inviting. My wife really admired their garden and has now decided we are adding a butterfly garden to our farmstead. We would def stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. Cindi was friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

Beautiful and peaceful place to relax and get away from everything but close to Asheville and other areas I wanted to visit. Very well put together and thought out. I enjoyed the swing on the back porch in the mornings. The spa like bathroom is also very relaxing. For this trip, I was on my own and appreciated that there was a secluded feeling but the owners were above and available if needed. Everything I needed for a peaceful get away was provided. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

This was the PERFECT place for our stay in Asheville. It’s centrally located which makes it convenient to get around, but the property itself is slightly outside of the city center in a woodsy area which gives you that lovely, peaceful feeling of being in nature. The space itself was perfectly spacious for 2 people. Very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen doesn’t have a stove but with a kettle, microwave, fridge, and toaster oven you can still do some cooking if you wish. The front porch is nice for sitting in the evenings. The hosts were very kind and provided some snacks and drinks for our stay, as well as clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations. We loved staying here and if we ever find ourselves back in Asheville we would definitely stay here! Such a great value for an excellent place!

The drive was beautiful coming up to the cabin. The unique A-Shape home made it more appealing and exciting to drive up to. The home was very clean and cozy. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you needed. Cute living space and very cabin like feel. The patio and deck was very nice. Although the jacuzzi was broken, the owner tried to repair in time for my arrival. Unfortunately, it was beyond his control so he graciously offered to discount my stay without even asking. As a Director for Customer Experience in a hospital, I know firsthand how important it is to create a positive experience. We will definitely return! Wish I could post pictures and a video of this place.

If I could give it 200 stars instead of five, I definitely would. It was a very nice and clean place with a spectacular view. My wife and I stayed there and loved it. The hosts are very friendly and always attentive. I will definitely return.

We had such a great time staying at Catherine's place! The pictures don't do this place justice. The views were spectacular from the deck! We loved seeing the horses and goats graze every night in front of the place. The bed was super comfy too! You won't regret booking this place. We will definitely be back again!!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, and the views were spectacular! Seeing a mother bear with two cubs in the yard was an added bonus! Candace was responsive and her instructions and directions were very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing cabin in the Fall!

This place is perfect! It's very clean, cozy, has beautiful views, easy drive, safe area, wonderful decor, linens and a comfortable bed. We had a peaceful long weekend stay in this cozy little home located in the most serene setting. Easy access down the mountain to restaurants and hiking. Hosts were warm and communicative. Thoughtful amenities added to an already well-stocked home. They provided everything needed to enjoy the space to the fullest. Would recommend this home to anyone and would absolutely stay again!

This place was beautiful! Perfect setting for our girls weekend. Such a peaceful place with great amenities. We also took advantage of Asheville Wellness Tours and had them come to the property for massages and a sound bath. Hillary was also very responsive and so kind. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible! It is a beautiful, thoughtful, and cozy home. I can’t say enough about how peaceful this place is for also being so close to in town amenities and hiking trails. All the host instructions were clear, every time I had a question I would read the guide first and my question was answered. We definitely plan on staying on our next WNC visit!
