Rental is for the full property; we now have national electricity and piped water, power sockets, fridge, microwave, etc, and a good phone network. Two ensuite bedrooms, doubles plus king sofa-beds, toilet/hot shower each room. Watch crested cranes, turacos. Swim the lake, walk to Fort Portal and round the lake, visit adjoining lodges, tour our indigenous forest, visit the rift valley. For extra guests ask for the tent (garden campers shower/toilet available). For pre-teen children, no charge.

A lush garden is filled with a variety of tropical plants and trees, including palms and flowering shrubs. A well-maintained grassy area appears suitable for relaxation. A brick wall forms the backdrop, enhancing the garden's secluded and tranquil atmosphere.

Welcome to our friendly compound in a peaceful rural area just 10 minutes outside Fort Portal, near Kampala Road. Here you can relax in the garden, prepare for your next trip or simply enjoy a retreat from work. Our accommodations range from single rooms to apartments and a family bungalow. Moonflower

Perched on the rim of ancient volcanic crater lake Kyaninga this place offers stunning views of the surrounding rainforest and the mythic Mountains of the Moon. Black and White colobus monkeys and an incredible variety of birds, including a resident flock of crested cranes, inhabit the immediate surroundings and many species live in the large, magnificent tropical garden that includes a meditation/yoga garden. You will feel refereshed and rejuvinated here; you will want to stay here forever.

There are 2 full time staff to help with washing dishes and cleaning. The cottage is situated on 27 acres of private land with 800 meters of lawn on the crater lake rim - all to yourself. It is a 45 minute drive to the chimp tracking starting point. It’s a great spot to go for walks, runs, bike rides and swim in the crater lakes.

Sowedhi’s property is a wonderful place. It is very clean with hot showers and a great breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the city, but far enough away to feel peaceful. The setting is well thought out with beautiful plants and tress surrounding the property. The breakfast is fantastic and we very much enjoyed the pancakes, fresh fruit and great coffee. Sowedhi and his team make you feel at home and answered all our questions about the area. Sowedhi helped us with planning days out and we really enjoyed visiting the caves and waterfall near by. Would highly recommend this place for a visit to Fort Portal.

Gaia Eco Hub is a quit place, to escape the city life. However it’s very central located. The room was basic, but I didn’t need nothing more. The delicious breakfast is included. Francis and Caroline, the staff, are extremely friendly and warm people.

A wooden deck features two woven chairs and a small table adorned with fresh fruit and drinks. Colorful flags hang between the railing, providing a subtle touch. Beyond, a lush green valley is visible under a partly cloudy sky.

This place is GREAT! The views, furnishings and gardens made for a much needed peaceful stay. The private bathroom with HOT SHOWER was a relief after my day’s travel! Michelle is a great hostess and recommended nearby spots to eat and even a few restaurants that deliver. A private kitchen with bottled water, cups, plates, cookware and stove/cooking gas was available for my use. Spent a couple of hours in the morning just walking and sitting in the flower gardens on the property. Very peaceful. I’ll return here. I highly recommend the place.

we enjoyed our stay at Kaswa Lodge very much. the mixture of highly professional and family home pleased us very well and went far beyond our expectations. a wide range of fresh farm products to enjoy and guided walks. very quiet, still close to main road and Fort Portal.
