Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Barkley

Doc Holiday never disappoints. This is our third year for the family vacation of kids and grandkids. The view from the deck is outstanding. There are many steps down to the boat slip provided with the property. The steps are well maintained and have a railing all the way down. Only little challenging for me at 70 but it worth it to have our boat in the slip. Bedrooms are located on both the main floor and upstairs. Master suite is upstairs.

Greg’s house was very beautiful and the view was even more beautiful. We enjoyed the lake view and the relaxing quiet atmosphere. We were very pleased with the amenities and the basic essentials to make our stay that much easier. Some highlights for us was the kayaks and bird watching. We definitely will stay again.

We stayed a week with our 3 adult children and 2 grandkids! The house was very spacious & the yard was private & quiet! It was a wonderful week spent on the lake and poolside! My favorite part was the views! The yard is situated so you can see the dock and the pool from the house. We were able to watch our grandkids at all times! Thanks for sharing your lovely home😀

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Perfect place for multiple families. Kids loved the bunk beds. Both cabins were very well-stocked with all sorts of kitchenware and bathroom necessities. The dock came in very handy for all of our jet-skis (4), but just be prepared for the walk back up. We enjoyed the fire pit area. It made it perfect for smores. The cabins are in a nice shady area, too, and the A/C works great! All in all, we're glad we found this place right on the water and nearby to our favorite place to ride SxSs and ATVs (Turkey Bay OHV).

The house is gorgeous and spacious. The cove is pretty well secluded and other people on the lake seemed to stay further out. We were able to get away and have a lot of fun and relax plenty as well. 10/10 spot. Would gladly stay here again.

Our family loved our stay at Travis’ place! Very comfortable and as described. Beautiful views and easy walk to the water. Nice to have kayaks and a paddle boat to enjoy. Hope to stay again!

This is a very affordable house considering all the amenities. Perfect for that fisherman in your life. My husband could walk to the back dock and throw in a pole, or troll around the lake in his own boat. A very convenient dock nearby. While he fished I enjoyed a Netflix binge and cooked in the kitchen.

Wow. This place was absolutely beautiful! It was definitely amazing it! We loved this place so much it felt just like home and it was very peaceful! The dock was so fun to fish off of, lots of room on the dock as well so bonus in my book! We’ve caught lots of fish so fishing definitely wasn’t a problem, we caught 3 huge catfish within one hour! Everything was nicely cleaned, the instructions on everything were very easy to understand! The hot tub was definitely my favorite part! We will definitely be recommending/revisiting!

A great place to get away! Was so peaceful and relaxing! A wonderful way to get away from everyday stresses. Got some of the best sleep of my life as well. The scenery was breathtaking!

We had another great stay, this place is so very beautiful and peaceful! We love to come and just relax and unwind. The kitchen was newly renovated and looks fantastic! Hope to come again!

The pictures give an accurate representation of what the unit and surrounding property looks like. Pictures can only do so much, though. What I would like to add is that everything was squeaky clean, that the floors look brand new and the walls were freshly painted in a serene color. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were soft and felt luxurious. I communicated with Brandi prior to checking in and she was extremely responsive and a friendly person. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

We were attending an event up the road, and the location of Tony's cabins could not be beat! The cabins are exactly as described - rustic-style fishing cabins - so if you need anything 'extra' be sure to bring it along with you. We had a great stay, the cabins were quiet and comfortable, and definitely car camping like some of the other event attendees opted for! :)

Our stay was perfect! Exactly what we needed! Restful and peaceful - we sat outside and watched the sunset, enjoyed breakfast each morning on the back porch and it was glorious! A short 30 min drive and we were able to spend a great afternoon at a State Park and enjoyed a beautiful hike. The host was wonderful, allowed for a late check out and was very responsive to any inquiry - we definitely recommend this location and l will certainly be back!

The rental was on a great location on the lake. The property was just as described. The home was clean and the amenities were perfect for a quiet lake getaway. The team was incredibly responsive and helped us with securing a boat rental for our trip. We would love to go back.

My friends and I absolutely loved staying at Roc N’ Doc. The house was gorgeous and we spent just about all weekend long on the dock and in the water. It was the perfect weekend!

Exceeded our expectations! They met us at the cabin and showed us around and made sure we didn’t have any questions. It’s such a historic experience, the place is just stunning. Excellent for a family getaway. Be sure to take the hike through the woods while you’re visiting. Walk a chair down to the creek and put your feet in the water, or take a peaceful walk down it. Sit and have coffee on one of two porches and listen to the water and wildlife. It’s a must to have s’mores by the fire pit as well. We had nightly visits from an armadillo couple and the same with turkeys. There is so much to do you almost need to stay longer than a week! Our schedule didn’t allow for a canoe/kayak trip down the Yellowcreek this visit, but you bet it’ll be on the list next time. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing stay, you two have put a lot of hard work into the cabin, and we’re grateful that you’re sharing it!!!

This was lovey comfortable place. I can't say enough about the view. It overlooked the water. It was high up enough to bird watch and see the boats come in. Danielle was very kind and helpful . We were 3 generations. There was something for all of us. We will be back!

It was BEAUTIFUL! Quiet and secluded, the house was amazing, and Michael was quick to respond to any of our questions. This place exceeded our expectations and if I'm ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay there again.
