We have our own private Lake Access with a Jetty and can cater for boat trailers. It is a downstairs, self-contained, with its own private entrance Our location is around 18 minutes from Rotorua, the nearest supermarket for supplies is 15 minutes away, you will pass it as you drive to us from Rotorua. All around are Sugar Maples with ferns and native plants underneath which attract the fantails. Purpose built and architecturally designed in 2019 as a holiday retreat using passive home guidelines. The cabin is a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD, close to all tourist attractions while allowing you the peace and quiet of a luxury retreat.

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Moana Tau - "Ocean Retreat" Spa Pool with View!

Our stay was so fabulous. Chrissie and Vinnie have everything you could possibly need at the suite and is in a great location with stunning views and a perfect spot to sit outside. The only down side was the fire station is close by and is very loud when it goes off and woke us up. The suite is downstairs, so can sometimes hear people walking around upstairs. Other than that it was fantastic.
