Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Almanor

We just got married at Bailey creek this past weekend, and this home was our home base for getting ready, photos, and lunch for our bridal party! This home is stunning, clean, and perfect for what we needed.

We had an absolute fantastic time at this Airbnb. The space is spotless and exactly as Debbie described. Debbie was responsive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we have everything that we needed. She made the experience extra special. I was so thankful for the list of restaurants and things to do in the area. Our family would love to return and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, they’ll not be disappointed. Debbie is truly are a Super host!

We were a group of 5 college friends in the area for a wedding and we felt like we lucked out with this peaceful and cozy place! The house was well appointed in general and the kitchen was completely stocked. The stream was a little too cold for us to enjoy the swimming hole but in the summer, it would be a must! Ember and her family were extremely helpful and friendly as were their two beautiful Golden Retrievers!

We over coming here. The house is comfortable and easy to relax in. So many sweet touches. We have been here for two holidays now and the place always it decorated up so cute!The area is wonderful too and the local people are sweet and kind. oh this is also our dog's favorite place to come.

Molly's Mountain Retreat was just the perfect place for us! Sometimes the photos and IRL don't match up...not so at this quaint mountain house - it's better than the photos. Everything was spotless and airy. This home boasts recent renovations like new floors, new appliances, and new furniture. It was simple and neat, with none of that hodge-podge furniture feel you get in some places. Everything was intentional. Space was maximized. Comfort was prioritized. We traveled with our two adult kids, so everyone got their own room. The bed situation offered flexibility - a queen upstairs, a full bed in the first downstairs bedroom, and two twins plus a trundle twin in the back downstairs bedroom. One thing we really loved was the multiple A/C units. Westwood can get pretty hot in the summer, but this place stayed cool. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The house was so cozy that we spent more time inside than we had planned. We will definitely stay again!

This home was pristine and the kitchen was a chefs dream. Walking distance to Bailey Creek Clubhouse, a short drive to other great restaurants and the lake. Patio area was fantastic for lounging & watching golfers and dining and game room upstairs was amazing!!

The Miner cottage needs a sink stopper.

The host was very communicative and made check in incredibly easy. The cabin was really quaint and had everything my family of four needed. Easy walk down to the river to fish, fun outdoor activities such as disc golf and basketball, all in an incredibly peaceful and beautiful area. 10/10 would recommend this location! Doug was really kind and brought freshly picked cherries for us to enjoy. We had such a great stay and didn't want to leave!

the views were beautiful! my family and I had an amazing time here. one thing that was said a lot was "this is the most stocked airbnb ever". such a cozy airbnb with literally everything you could need available to you! Will definitely be coming back again :)

The stay was amazing! Had my brothers bachelor party at the lake and had an amazing place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans which made cooking for everyone a breeze! Joseph was super responsive when I messaged him and was quick to help me find a place local to rent a boat for the weekend. The house is cozy and the front porch is massive! The beds are also very comfortable plus an air hockey table made the early mornings and evenings fun as well. Overall I’d give more than five stars if possible! Thank you for helping us have a great bachelor party and weekend trip! Plus having a gas station like 5 mins away made last minute shopping a breeze. Great location, great house, great host!

You book this house for the location, the people you bring with you, and the friendly folks who live in this small town. There is so much to do in these valleys. We swam, hiked, cycled, offroaded, and learned the history of the town and its people. We grilled out with meat we bought from the owners, watched our niece go out for a pony ride in the hay fields (generous hosts!), and spent our down time watching farm life from the porch. At the end of the day we lit a fire in the woodstove and slept well. The beds are comfortable and the hosts are responsive. This house is not going to be featured in Sunset magazine. It's an old farmhouse on a working ranch, and I can understand that housework and ranchwork are time consuming. There's just not time for everything. But everything you need to work well does. We had a great trip and look forward to visiting again. If you're uncomfortable with an odd insect or have strong preferences for sleek modern design, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great winter retreat! We found this place for the long Presidents’ Day weekend and absolutely loved it. We’d never heard of Paxton before, but the river, lodge, and surroundings were so beautiful. The cabin stayed plenty warm for us and our infant. Would 10/10 recommend for the next person who is on the fence!

This home was beautiful, squeaky clean and had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect home for my big family visiting from out of town. Amy was super responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this home to others. You won’t regret booking it!

Loved this rental. It was perfect for our whole family including our dog. It was a safe neighboorhood and not completely isolated which we liked. The hot tub was perfect to soak in after playing in the snow. We have school aged children so we were able to let them play outside with our supervision and build snowman and have snowball fights. The golf course was a short distance so we were able to take several of the sleds Carolyn had for us and found a nice hill the kids were able to sled down for several hours. Overall great place and will visit again.

The place was great, even bigger than it looks in the listing. The upstairs had the kitchen and primary bedroom plus bathroom and sitting area. The downstairs had the game room, 2 more bedrooms, and another sitting area. The game room was really large, it was a finished 2 car garage, so had a full-sized pool table and a full-sized ping pong table as well as TV and some other games--not the mini versions that you get sometimes. Everything was really clean and plenty of bedding for the 5 beds we used. The location was very central, about 15 minutes to golf and boating at the lake, and under an hour to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I thought it was a great place to stay to visit both the lake and the park.

Beautiful house and location. Kitchen was best stocked we’ve stayed in. Furniture was comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. Very happy and would definitely stay again.
