Great peaceful place to stay. Host is engaging and ensured I knew how to get in the home and kept in constant contact with me due to my constant changing arrival. I always check for availability here first when I come up town.

one of the best places we've stayed. the price was amazing, Barbara's hospitality was great, and the place had PLENTY of space. Also, our girls loves being able to drive by and see the horses anytime we left of came back. would definitely recommend this space and will be looking for it the next time we're in Indiana

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. My husband, our 15 month old, and I are moving to Ethiopia in a couple of months and we needed to spend one last time with our family. Fern’s listing was so close to where our family lived and we were able to have our own space and also spend time with family. We got to meet and visit with our host one morning and they were so friendly and welcoming!! We will definitely choose these wonderful accommodations again if we ever come back.

It was our second stay here and it was just as good as the last time! We brought our 4.5 month old on his first weekend getaway to meet some family. We completely forgot about all the trains so the noise machine was a welcomed touch! We will hopefully be back again!

Lovely space. Enjoyed the 2nd floor views of trees and farmland in the morning and evening.

Great Spot, Great Hosts and Location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little home. We stayed here for almost 6 weeks while our 5th wheel RV was being repaired at the factory. The house was very well cleaned and in good shape. Nice large backyard for the kids to play in as well as bird watching. There were no TVs which was actually a plus for our no-screens family. There was a nice welcome basket with some snacks as well as coffee and tea for the coffee maker. All the kitchen tools you could need were provided if you plan on cooking. We also enjoyed the very nice ping pong table downstairs and being able to hang dry clothes on the laundry line downstairs by the new washer and dryer. Internet was good- no interruptions while working remotely. Host and owner were very nice and accommodating and very quick to answer any questions we had. We recommend checking out E&S Bulk Foods (cash only), Dutch Country Market, Yoder Meats & Cheese, and Yoder Red Barn shops while you are in town

The apartment is spacious, very clean and contains thoughtful decor and amenities. Tina was responsive and friendly. We were able to easily walk Main Street to eat and shop. The building itself was quiet, but the train tracks are nearby and you will hear trains throughout the day and night.

It was such a beautiful stay. The back of the house faces the quiet channel in a circular view, which allows for a lovely view and breeze. The house had an inviting layout, great for our family vacation. The shed in the back was accommodating with lots of water toys, especially for kids. There is a little private and very clean beach area that was great for the kids as well. We look forward to coming back!

Brenda was very responsive to my messages. The house was clean and the view was spectacular. The neighbors were very friendly. The water is pretty shallow around the lake. The lake is also very quiet with minimal people out on it. There were times we went kayaking and were the only people out on the lake. If you are looking for a sleepy lake, this is it! Keep in mind of the stairs from the first floor to walk out basement and then from the porch to the lake. The local Tavern did have amazing fish, just like Brenda suggested. It was the perfect quick getaway!

I loved staying at Sharon's place. It was cozy and comfortable. I love when a host does the "little things" for their guests such as the Dr. Teal's lotion and bubble bath, make-up towels, toys for the little ones etc. I felt very safe, and the peace and serenity were what I was looking for with this get-away. We ate at Destination 814 and it was delicious. We also drove down to Shipshewana and enjoyed shopping and picking up some local desserts. All around great host and great trip.

This was a one night stay on a longer trip and the house was great. It was clean, had everything we needed, the kids enjoyed the games, and it is on a lovely lake. It was very relaxing and it felt like an immediate vacation away from it all. We would definitely go back for a longer stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was absolutely fantastic, incredibly thoughtful, and responded promptly to all our messages. We especially appreciated the extra touches for the kids, like the play set and the kids' chairs by the firepit- it made a big difference.The property itself is beautiful and clean. It's clear the host has thought of everything you might need to enjoy a lakeside getaway. Plus, the location is great. Our only minor inconveniences, which were certainly not the host's fault, were the heat wave during our stay (black roof and siding, the A/C unit struggled, even with the drapes closed) and that the running water had a yellow tint (likely iron/mineral)., and it was a bit unusual for us. If you're planning to rent a pontoon, make sure to arrange it in advance, especially on a weekend, as we had trouble finding one last minute. Overall, despite the minor issues, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this beautiful lakeside retreat!

It was a warm day and we arrived late in the afternoon. The air conditioning was on for us and it was very easy to use the entrance key pad. Steph left us donuts and popcorn from local businesses and they were delicious! She has a book with everything we needed to know including recommendations for restaurants. TV’s in each bedroom as well as the living room with streaming services to use. Four 60+ age women could figure out how to use them! The house was a comfortable, relaxing place to come back to at the end of each day!

Spent the weekend and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful and as pictured and described. The view off the lake is amazing and lots of breeze coming off of it. The beds were extremely comfortable and had nice pillows, linens, and extra pillows and blankets. Fans were provided in both bedrooms. Water was hot and all hygiene was provided. The kitchen is well stocked. The hosts were reachable and gave clear directions on entrance and how to work the air, heat, and TV. Would definitely recommend to stay here and make sure to go for a visit in Shipshewana.

Beautiful home, peaceful grounds. :) Goats in a pen in the back was unexpected and cute! We were surprised to find the home was a large multi bedroom home rather than a one bedroom home, there were just several locked doors which my over-active imagination was creeped out over lol We would very much come again, particularly if the other rooms were opened and we could bring the family :)

Kay was very responsive. Set up very well. met a friend there before going to a Notre Dame game. It essentially was set up like a master bedroom on each side of the house. The living room was comfortable. Easy check-in, easy to get in the house, good recommendations for local restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay! It was so very relaxing, there was a gentle breeze that came through the windows and we got to listen to the sound of the birds and watch people fishing across the way at the pond. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were soft. Rose and Merv are wonderful hosts. Everything is exactly how it should be when you go to stay somewhere. There were so many different seating options, that it made for a very comfortable stay. A big plus is that there were no scents of any type - we appreciated this because so many places have those Plugins which cause our allergies to go wild. Best Airbnb we have ever stayed in hands down!

This was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. If there is an award for best kep Airbnb ...Sharon should receive it. Clean, beautifully decorated, just the right amount of amenities., quiet. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Highly recommend
