House vacation rentals in Lafayette

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

This home was in a great location in Clayton, close to tons of trails and a quick walk downtown. There was plenty of space in the home for several guests, and it was located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The place was clean and beautiful. We needed a home away from home while construction was going on at our place. And found it here.

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

Job’s place is a true gem. The pictures dont do the place justice. Its beautfully decorated with excellent amenites both in and outside the house. The view is unbeatable and the locaion is so peaceful. The pool house was one of the top highlights. Job was a very helpful host and super responsive to our requests. Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

I love this place. My favorite Airbnb to date. It’s more beautiful in person. They have everything you can think of, very accommodating. He even let us check in early. I love this place. We will definitely stay again. And Kenny is so friendly!

Really beautiful views from every light filled room. The winding mountain road and flora along the way were a memorable part of the trip. Beds and linen were nice.

Beautiful home just as described and pictured! Highlights included stunning views of Mt. Diablo and a cute, safe neighborhood to walk the dogs or go on a jog. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was even better than expected—everything felt upscale and thoughtfully designed. The bed was super comfortable, and the furniture and kitchen were clearly high quality, which made relaxing and cooking a pleasure. What really stood out was the kindness of our host. When my fiancée came down with something mid-trip, they kindly offered to pick something up for us, which was incredibly generous and appreciated. Their local restaurant recommendations were also spot on—we tried a few and loved every one. Truly a welcoming, well-appointed place to stay. We’d absolutely come back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent communication and clear instructions. The home was well located and had easy access to anywhere we needed to go with a safe parking area for the car, and felt private. The garden/yard was very cute, and was well maintained with some young fruit trees and citrus, plus a nice grassy area where my son loved to throw a football. The patio area in the back was refreshing and felt private and calming. Had everything we could ask for. Thank you!

Stayed here with family. The backyard was our favorite part- we had a toddler in the group that could run around play while we hung out on the deck. House was beautiful and modern. The local area was peaceful, we saw lots of local wildlife on the hill which was fun to sit and watch with coffee. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay, downtown Walnut Creek and broadway plaza are easily walkable. The home is very comfortable with plenty of space to relax, and nice amenities.

I only wish I could give more than five stars. Words can’t begin to describe our host. Without exception. Forever grateful for the superior level of kindness and hospitality. Thank you Michelle and Ryan.

Kenney obviously takes pride in his AirBnB home. It looks like the entire house was remodeled and the landscaping is very nice. The floor plan was perfect for our group - four bedrooms and three bathrooms for two couples and two grandchildren. The grandsons (ages 13 and 10) particularly enjoyed having a 65 inch TV in their bedrooms which they certainly don't have at home. We had a problem with a squeaky bathroom door, but Kenney fixed that the next day. Also problems with the coffee pot so we just went to the nearby Starbucks. But those were minor issues. Everything else was fine. We had my wife's siblings over for dinner the second night of our stay, and everyone was very complimentary about the house. If the need arises for us to stay in the area in the future, we would definitely book this house again.

We felt at home at the minute we entered David’s home. Large house, confortable, clean, 5min drive from Walnut Creeks’ center, we had a great family stay and David was super responsive. Highly recommended Airbnb!

My family has stayed in many Airbnbs and this was one of the best. The place has a zen feel to it, and it’s very comfortable and spacious. It is very thoughtfully decorated with cool artwork and very nice furniture. Also very clean and well taken care of, and feels much more like a cozy home than a rental. The backyard is very relaxing and has a great view of the bay. I stayed here with my wife and 3 kids and we would definitely do so again in the future. Thanks for having us!!

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

This was a really cute house in a great neighborhood. The host is super nice, responsive and kind. The bed (it was only me and I slept in the master) was really comfortable as was the couch. It was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked. I was able to do laundry and the entire place from top to bottom was spotless. This house is a gem!

We loved our 5 week stay in this quintessential California Eichler. This home is architecturally beautiful  — floor-to-ceiling glass walls, skylights and post-and-beam construction. The home is exceptionally private (you can’t see any neighboring homes once inside) and located on a court in a peaceful Eichler community. The open kitchen, dining and living room design is fantastic for gathering inside. The primary suite is on one side of the home, with the other two bedrooms and bath on the other side, which is great for family stays like ours.  We spent lots of time lounging in the atrium and yard  — the plants, palm trees and sky are gorgeous! The home is 3 miles from downtown Concord, 8 miles from Walnut Creek and 5 miles from Clayton. It’s a short walk/quick drive to Markham Arboretum and Nature Park. Phillip is a super, lovely host. Don’t pass up on a chance to stay here.
