LAFAYETTE STAND-ALONE COTTAGE HIDEAWAY

This is a charming stand alone cottage next to the main house with its own private entrance. You'll have access to an acre of garden which you are welcome to relax in. It has a full size fridge with a stackable washer dryer The property is 11 minutes from the Lafayette BART and 7 minutes from Walnut Creek town center by car. Briones Wildlife Park is less than a mile away. We have 4 cats and two small dogs. Pets are welcome but we ask for large dogs to be on leash. TESLA charging available.

Sweet Suite!

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

Our private 2 bedroom suite with amazing views of Mt. Diablo is located in a suburb of San Francisco and Berkeley called Lafayette in the East Bay. We neighbor Walnut Creek and are close to Hwys. 24/680. We are a 5-8 minute drive to the Lafayette BART station. San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

Quiet and homey private room located right near premiere Walnut Creek dining and entertainment. Entirely renovated and state of the art bathroom/bedroom nestled off a quiet and private drive. Single bedroom, queen size bed and private bathroom. The room is separated from the main house for complete privacy. Wifi, cable TV and other great amenities provided. My place is great for business travelers. It does not have shared facilities for laundry or cooking.

The kitchenette is equipped with white cabinetry displaying glassware and dishware. A microwave and coffee maker are included on the countertop. A clock is positioned on the wall, and the adjoining hallway leads to the guest suite's bedroom, which is visible in the distance.

This bright guest suite has a spacious living room, a cozy bedroom, upgraded bathroom and a sunny kitchenette. The bedroom has a full-size bed and the large living room has a queen bed. The kitchenette has a common wall with our home, but the cinder block construction results in a quiet and private experience. The outdoor sitting area allows one to relax and enjoy a cold drink among the many olive and citrus trees. Easy street parking and private entrance.

My wife and I stayed in Ming's place for five days while visiting our daughter and family in Moraga. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is in a very peaceful, quiet setting. It is spacious, neat, very comfortable and very well provisioned. There is a very nice deck where we enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the morning. It is surrounded by trees and thge sounds of many birds. Ming was very responsive and gracious. We would happily stay here again.

We have our new favorite place to stay in at Walnut Creek. This place is in the nicest of neighborhoods and walkable to amazing restaurants in the downtown area. Steve is the best communicator and his recommendations were all wonderful! Everything was neat, clean, and fully stocked. Great to have laundry on site and the set-up of everything we needed was perfect. Loved this little backhouse cottage!

The bathroom features a stand-up shower enclosed with glass. A washing machine and dryer are located in a nook, alongside neatly stacked towels and laundry detergent. A sink with a counter is visible, complemented by a white hand towel hanging on the wall.

Jonathan was responsive for a quick turnaround. A previous reservation fell through and we were without a place to stay. Within an hour he had communicated and was able to get us in to his b&b. We were surprised with such a cool space and beautiful scenery.
