Experience the mountain at this unique and peaceful family cabin. The cottage is beautifully situated on a separate island in Otrøvatnet at Filefjell. It was built in the late 50s and has traditional style, but has running water and electricity. The cabin has a practical space with large living room with fireplace and dining area, kitchen, hallway, four bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bathtub and separate toilet. Outdoor house with sauna. There is also a charcoal grill, fire pit, rowboat, fishing equipment, games and some children's toys. There is about 10 minutes to walk on the path from parking.

New and modern apartment (2024) with lovely sauna! Amazing views of Jotunheimen and great hiking opportunities in summer and winter. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the apartment building. It has two bedrooms, bathroom with sauna and a cozy living room with sofa bed (140 cm). Hallway and bathroom with heating cables. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for washing up and cooking. The balcony has a seating area and a lovely view of Tyinvannet. Nice randone opportunities right from the apartment. Parking possibility in the basement.

Filefjell (Enclosed)

"Enclosed" offers a charming and easy experience for those who want to disconnect in nature. With no running water but with access to fresh creek water right outside. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas-powered hob. Kitchen and living room in one. A solar panel provides power for 12 volts. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. In the loft there is an air mattress for an extra sleeping space. The cabin is wood fired. An outhouse and an inside outhouse. Road all the way. Bed linen and towels must be brought.

Cozy apartment on Filefjell for rent

The apartment is located on Nystuen on Filefjell, about 970 meters above sea level. Here you have a lit of activities with access to the entire Jotunheimen, summer and winter. great and easy terrain to hike in. The apartment is located just off the Otrøvannet where it is popular to fish in the summer and kite in the winter. The ski tracks run right outside the building and you have access on miles of trails. It is also nice to go mountain skiing in the area and a short way to the ski resort.

Welcome to our cabin paradise "Puttebu" at Filefjell Our cabin is cozy, warm and gives you just the peace and coziness you seek. Rusle in beautiful mountain terrain or go for rough hikes. The cabin is located in a well-established cabin area on Filefjell and is suitable for two families. From the cabin you have lovely views and short road to Jotunheimen. Joker Tyin and Intersport are only 10 minutes away, just below Tyinkrysset Filefjell ski center has nice ski safe with good pizza :-)

There are large windows and an open floor plan to be close to the magnificent nature . The cabin is privately owned and we only want to rent out to responsible adults and families who will take good care of our cabin. The age limit for rent is 25 years.
