This place is definitely a home away from home and a great place to unite the families! It provided all of our needs plus more. We love exploring the near towns and often when we had plans to go out we would actually change and stay in instead to relax, play games and be together. Also a 5-star mention is the communication and attention given by our host. If there was anything, they were quick re respond and help us out. We are already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you!

I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

Thank you for offering your lovely cottage to others. It was a perfect place for a small quiet family celebration to mark my sisters 50th birthday, as was her wish. The water front was wonderful for dogs swimming and launching the canoe and kayak that were provided. I loved sitting in the early morning on the screened in porch with the dogs and my tea while I waited for the house to wake up. Dani was even forgiving of my failure to fully complete a departure request/task in our hurry to leave. Thank you for helping make our first time as AirBnB users such an easy and carefree trip! Its no wonder its a popular spot. Hope to be back again!

peaceful and cozy stay

Loved our stay. Very clean, warm and quiet. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our week on the lakefront. We were 7 adults and there was room for everyone and the beds were comfortable. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. As our stay was at the end of June, we were a little worried about mosquitoes. In the end, there were very few (the dragonflies did their job well!). So we were able to enjoy the site and spent a lot of time outside and on the lake. Our host was also very easy to approach.

Relaxing and refreshing stay. We loved the view and the tranquility.

Luc has a great place. Huge property with great views. Cottage was bigger than expected with plenty of room for 6 of us but could easily accommodate more. There was lots of sand on the waterfront (June) making it easy to walk out to the water. Would stay there again. Thanks Luc.

Martin’s place was excellent. It was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and spacious. We were a big group and we each had our own little area which was fantastic. The hot tub was great and the lake was beautiful. Martin was very responsive before and during our entire stay, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Very nice accommodation and very comfortable. Close to the north side of Mont-Tremblant, very convenient. The stay was very pleasant. I will go back and recommend it to my friends.

To be honest it was an amazing weekend. The lake view is really beautiful. The place was spotless. Good for family get away with kids and also if you love to meditate. I really dont have anything bad to say. But you will enjoy your time for sure. It was definitely good memories. Marie-Pier is very responsive. 5 stars for sure ☺️

We spent three nights at this place over the long weekend, and it was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and was nice and clean. The host was very responsive and has maintained the house exceptionally well. I will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. The location is also excellent.

Hi, Very nice and clean accommodation. The neighborhood is nice but at night, there are a lot of homeless people and it's not very reassuring if you come home late.

We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

A 5-star, I love it! I had a great time at Martin and Mélanie's. The house matched the description: clean, well-equipped, quiet and very well-located. The place is warm and comfortable, and Melanie was available and responsive throughout the stay. I would highly recommend the place and will be back again soon. We had a lovely weekend at Kay's place. This cottage is not new and that's what makes it charming, it is warm, comfortable and well equipped! The view from the cottage of the snowy trees and the banks of the river was very beautiful. The garden must surely be very nice in summer. Kay was responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks!

Very comfortable accommodation, well arranged, ideally located! Our stay with my family, 6 of us, went very well. We particularly enjoyed this place during our stay.

Very nice place in the middle of nature, with a whole battery of sound to relax: birds, winds in the trees , stream below, and in our case rain and thunderstorm! Peaceful and refreshing intimist! The place is cozy and spotless, and the hosts are kind, responsive and welcoming. Go there without so much as a second thought!

We had a very relaxing stay in this cozy little cottage. The setting, along the beautiful Red River, is simply idyllic. I highly recommend it and we will go back without hesitating!

The house is beautiful and airy and clean with an unmatched view of the lake. We sat a lot on the back deck facing the lake, birdwatching, have coffee or wine, reading. It was so peaceful. Also, the kitchen was well stocked and we created some great meals. I would love to have a kitchen that size in my own home!

Jo-Anne's house enjoys a fabulous location, between 2 lakes and by a lake that was covered in snow and ice. The landscape, which we enjoyed from the outside but also installed in the living room by the fire, was magical! The house is very well equipped with everything you need and we enjoyed the many board games. Very good communication with Jo-Anne who is very responsive and offered us many activities in the surrounding area.

Host Jill was very responsive and friendly!! a real delight to communicate with! The cottage itself is a great spot for families with young children! it is approximately an hour from parc omega! it is well equipped with cooking necessities and amenities! we found rooms to be sound proof which allowed for minimal disruption in persons sleep! sunroom space was perfect for kids to play in without adults being overstimulated by noise! the beach front is clean and free of seaweed - enjoyable to swim in for all ages! very comfortable and homey cottage to stay at with your family to create memories 😊
