Pet-friendly vacation rentals in La Matanza de Acentejo

Jorge and Carlos were extremely nice and responsive, true hosts that you wish to come across. :) About the place itself we can mostly echo what is already said in other opinions. This is a very spacious villa, well-equipped (really, everything you need is here), big heated pool with a view, surroundings nice & walkable. We can honestly recommend to everyone.

Super nice, remote area! It was quite, I loved the outside space and the entire house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view over the city and sea is amazing

The apartment from Natalia & John was great! Within walking distance from good restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. So very central but in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything we could think of was there; beach umbrellas and chairs included. They allowed us to do a late check out which was very nice. We very much recommend this house in Alcala if you want to explore Tenerife and you don’t like the big resorts and the very touristic places like los cristianos.

Beautiful large house that is equipped with all comforts. The children enjoyed the pool and the bananas in the garden. The indoor space upstairs with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is wonderfully spacious. The living space inside is good, the terrace is lovely and the kitchen is overcomplete. All in all, an ideal house for a week relaxing. The location of the house is secluded, but that gives you peace and quiet in return. Supermarkets and/or eateries can be reached within 10 minutes, so that's definitely fine. I recommend the house to everyone!.

This was one special stay! This cave is a sacred and cozy spot full of an amazing energy. The place more spatious than it seemed in the pictures and super comfortable with everything you need inside. It didn’t take long for us to feel at home. The hosts were very responsive and detail-oriented, providing us in the cave with all things you may need to make you feel right at home. You definitely need a car to move around as there is nothing really within walking distance. But we love the quietness and remoteness of this space. It has a beautiful terace where we chilled and made a grill, and also a terace on top of the cave where you have an amazing view of the region and the ocean. We spent two weeks there and this cave made our stay 10 times more special! Thank you so much 💚

I've rented Nurias place with a group of friends, stayed there for 7 days and enjoyed every single one of them. It was clean, cozy, there was also an awesome grill and huge terrace upstairs on which we spent most of our evenings. It was a pleasure to talk with Nuria, she was really helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place :)

We've just finished our stay at the property and it was perfect. We wanted somewhere to relax for the week in beautiful surroundings and it ticked that box and more! The house itself is gorgeous and has everything you'd need for your stay, including a juicer which meant we got to have fresh OJ every morning, with oranges bought down the road. The pool and hot tub in particular were amazing with fantastic views down the valley.

We were a group of 4 people in the north of Tenerife, mainly to explore its trails and enjoy the cuisine. José Ángel's house met expectations because it is located near Anaga, La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, Icod, etc., which is the main thing we wanted to visit; everything is very accessible via the highway that is 2/3 km away. The house is high in the municipality, so you should bring something warm (depending on the time of year). The house is located on a sloping road, so I recommend parking on a roadside about 30 or 40 meters from the door and walking up, as it takes some skill to maneuver by car. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms are very well equipped and comfortable. The bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase (not suitable for very young children). José Ángel very kindly gave us a bottle of local wine. The views from the rooftop are amazing. We'll be back!!!

We had a wonderful weekend, the apartment does not lack any detail, very clean and tidy, ideal for spending a few days with the family. Carmen, the host, is a beautiful person, very helpful and kind. We recommend it 100%, we will repeat!!!!

Davide was very helpful and welcoming. The villa had stunning views, was very clean and spacious and was well equipped. The location was quiet and peaceful and a short 15mins drive to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely consider returning to this villa. I would highly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The welcome was absolutely fantastic, and Mauro and Caroline’s hospitality exceeded all expectations. They were always warm, kind, and easy to talk to — we really enjoyed our conversations with them. The accommodation itself was spotless, tidy, and incredibly cozy — we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is very convenient, with the highway just a short drive away, making it easy to get around. All in all, it was a fantastic vacation, and I would gladly come back anytime. The 5 star reviews are spot on.....though we are tempted to leave a 1 star review to put people off from discovering this wonderful villa so we can return to stay again more easily! Ana Maria and Fran were so helpful and the villa is truly amazing. A huge space for up to 16 people so perfect for a big family gathering (we were there for a birthday party; Fran found us a brilliant Cuban/Latin American 3 piece band to entertain us and he made us a huge delicious paella and selection of tapas). The villa is so quiet yet very close to Puerto de Cruz and with breathtaking views of the ocean and Teide volcano. You do need a car to get around.

One of the best AirBnBs we ever had. Very very huge, because you can also use the pool, the barbecue and the chill out area. Very private, as the whole area is surrounded by walls. Maximum clean. We enjoyed the presence of the cute cats that live in town, especially Negrito. Many good restaurants are just 10 to 15 minutes away by car. You can watch the ocean and the sunrise from the apartment.

We have just had a great few days at Carmen Rosa’s apartment. When we got there we met Tamara’s mother who made us so welcome!! We were after a complete chill out break and this is what we got. The apartment I had everything you need, including a large balcony terrance which catches the sun most of the day. I would certainly recommend a car for your visit. There are a couple of local supermarkets but 2 larger ones (including a Lidl) only a few minutes drive away. The apartment is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed just sitting watching the boats come in and out of the harbour. I would really recommend This apartment.

During our stay we encountered two small problems, in 45 minutes everything was settled. Excellent responsiveness! Everything else was perfect, the pool was super large and the rooms very bright. Plan a car anyway to enjoy your stay completely.

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

What a magical place! Julien's cabin is truly a hidden gem. Located on a hill with breathtaking views of the sea. Nearby a beautiful forest – this is the ideal place to relax and unwind. The cottage itself is cozy, warm and decorated with attention to detail. You immediately feel that this is built and maintained with love. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable and perfectly in order. But what really makes this experience special is Julien herself. An incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who welcomes you with open arms. He knows the area and enthusiastically shares his tips about hidden beaches and nice dining addresses. I can therefore highly recommend this place and hope to definitely come back again. Merci Julien!

Very happy to have stayed with Jörg and Magdalena, they welcomed us warmly upon our arrival. The house is full of comforts and they are really attentive to every little detail. The panoramic view of the sea is truly splendid.

Everything was perfect! We received clear instructions and faya was always available for us if we had questions! The van was super cozy and exactly Like described. We would definetely book the van again :)

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The flat is in a beautiful location close to lovely walks which we enjoyed with our dogs. We are grateful to the hosts for being flexible with check in and they were always very responsive and friendly. This is a lovely place to stay and we recommend it to others.

Masca is a movie location, and Frédéric's cottage is too!! It's like living in heaven. Quite an experience. Frédéric was very nice to us. We highly recommend it, if we were to return to Masca we would not hesitate to repeat it.
