Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Look at the brilliantly bright stars in the night sky at one of three lakes just a five minute drive away. Or take a 15 minute drive to watch a movie at the old fashioned theatre. Have a picnic at one of the two parks just a couple of blocks away. Looking for a place to cool off during the summer? Take a thirty minute drive to the local Wipe Out Pool which has the longest waterside in the valley (opened Memorial day to mid-August).

The cabin looks exactly like the photos! Quiet, peaceful, respectful; needed after a 12 hour drive. Detailed directions were great, and it's around the corner from some stores. A later check-in is easy, just call in advance. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water was consistent the entire 10-12 min shower. The cabin itself is two units, so in the AM I could hear the neighbors packing up, etc. but it was minimal. Driving from Phoenix to Lincoln, this specific route actually trimmed 20 mins off the google maps suggested route. I would definitely stay here again.

I wish I can give this place more than 5 stars!!! Kendi is such an AMAZING host. She quickly answered any questions I had which weren’t many because she leaves all information in a welcome packet. Her place is a cozy home away from home. I’m a travel nurse and I stay in many hotels and air BnB and this by far is the best. Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in town.

Kendi was very polite and quick to respond. I had mentioned that I would be bringing my daughter and she left bubbles for her to play with. The snacks and drinks were a nice treat, and everything was clean kept and organized.

A well-organized bathroom features neutral walls and a window covered with wooden blinds. A towel rack displays neatly rolled towels and a small plant adds a touch of greenery. Essential amenities, including a toilet and a waste bin, are also visible.

we enjoyed this home. It was an classic early 20th home that was beautifully updated, clean and homey. A quiet neighborhood. Kelly answered our questions right away. we would definitely stay there again. There were bookstores and antique stores in LA Junta that we visited.

This was a spot for a camper/rv. It was easy to find and all amenities were as published. We brought the wrong converter and she called her brother in law who had one and let us borrow it. The patio area is very nice and inviting. Janet surprised us with a loaf of banana bread which we had for breakfast!! Will definitely use them again if we’re back down that way.

Thanks for enjoyable weekend at your place, Brad. La Junta KOA meet all our needs for a quick trip to La Junta for college wrestling. Friendly Host- clear instructions for our stay. Our little Cabin B was comfortable -clean - fully stocked with linen/towels/kitchen items. Pet area was also clean/stocked with bags for clean up. We want to return in the summer months to explore the area more. Community is rich in ranching and railroad history. KOA has some cool rail cars on the property. Caboose to rent! Love to try the Caboose next trip! Nikki Mark McCulley Carlsbad NM
