"Bienvenido" to Hostal La Valeria (my daughter's name) Our beautiful house is right in front of the beach at La Boca. Here you can enjoy relaxing days at the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, biking, riding horses through the valley to the waterfalls and the mountains, and if you want during the evening go to Trinidad for a bit of moved nightlife. Kudos to Betty and her team at Casa Giroud. We enjoyed a great weekend in Trinidad! Even though there are many good restaurants nearby, we started each day with the 6USD breakfast which was absolutely delicious. The little swimming pool was used by us on a daily basis. Clean and refreshing! Apagones are a problem in all of Cuba, but especially in the provinces. Be aware that there's a generator for the house that turns on in the evening. It doesn't operate the fridge nor the A/C, but it's nice to recharge all your devices and to have a fan on when there's a blackout at night. Communication is superb. Betty speaks English perfectly and was helpful with recommendations and advice about the city. I would definitely re-book the next time I come to Trinidad.

quiet place. One of the cleanest homes we've found. Joe is at your complete disposal for anything, just anything. i recommend this place, the beautiful beach is a little far we went by bike or Joe drove us. The village still seems to be expanding for tourism, you can see that they are fixing and building

Loved the place and Jorge and Carmen. They were so sweet and helpful and cook delicious. They even cook the fish we caught. We had a great time even though we don't speak Spanish. The city is cozy and local, and has a great coral reef right at your doorstep. We hope to visit you again one day. Mia, Aksel, Nanna, Kasper.

Casa Monteboca is a very nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of Trinidad. The terrace was our favorite place. We lived in an area only for the guests, so completely private. Everything worked great, the host Yisel is warm, friendly and always there for us. Their English language skills are very helpful.

What a delightful stay we had with Maricela on her little farm! If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming and safe space to relax and unwind, this is the place for you. My boyfriend and I spent the week relaxing both on-site and on the nearby beaches. Maricela's breakfasts are super satisfying and worth the value. If not homegrown on the farm, all the breakfast food was locally sourced and fresh. We also suggest that you let Maricela arrange bike rentals for you during your stay. There are 3 or 4 nice beaches within a 20-minute bike ride from the house. She can also arrange transport for you to Trinidad if you want to spend the day there. The house is situated on the outskirts of La Boca. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk into town to enjoy a sunset cocktail at El Ojo del Toro. We tried restaurant food in La Boca, but it was no comparison to the home cooked meals that Maricela offered. The prices are good and the taste and quality is superior to restaurant meals.

The hosts were kind, friendly and very helpfull people. The house was super clean, in the center of La Boca, close to the restaurants but at the same time quiet. The garden and patio were great. Breakfests delicious with home made yogurt. We spent here few days with our kids, all was great.
