Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Kyoto

This Airbnb was accommodating to us as a family of 5, it had all the necessities that we needed, was close to the train station & supermarket, it’s in a nice quiet area. 10/10 I would stay here again.

This was a comfortable and functionable place to stay. It's quite a way out of the cente of Kyoto but public transport is exellent with a bus stop right outside the building. The host met me at the property and was very helpful, giving me lots of information.

The host is enthusiastic.The physical object is consistent with the actual one.The room is quite clean, the necessary amenities are prepared, and it is a very good experience.I'll rent it again next time.

Very helpfull and nice host

The Host was always attentive to all our inquiries. The accommodation is as it appears in the photos and in fact it is much larger than it seems. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, with shops and supermarkets less than 100 meters away and typical and inexpensive restaurants nearby. It is 150 meters from the subway station which greatly facilitates your stay. An excellent option and recommended in Osaka.

Junko's apartment has what you need for A short and longer stay in Kyoto. Comfortable bed, balcony, TV, closet for all your clothes, Functional and easy to use Kitchen plus bathroom with bidet and bathtub. Fast internet makes this one of the best value for your money options in Kyoto. The Northern stop right next to the apartment building of Bus 46 takes you right to the Big Attractions of Kyoto. Nijo Castle, Karasuma, Kawaramachi, Kamo River, Gion and Heian Shrine in less than 40 minutes.

The area is in a quiet neighbourhood. It may take a bit of time to go to Central areas like Gion. However, this is exactly what I would like to come back to after a long day outside - peace. The neighbourhood also has a lot of things to do a see, all walkable distance. Plenty of options for convenient stores and restaurants too.

We had a great 3 day stay at Ken’s apartment. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring Kyoto - train and bus stations are just down the block. We walked to a different restaurant (off a list recommended by Ken which made our life easy) every night and had 3 delicious meals. There are shops and stores all around and the Nishiki market is very close too. The space was perfect for us - great bed, a frig and a freezer (with an ice cube tray - wow!) plus a washing machine. The terrace is amazing for breakfast, evening hour relaxing and watching the birds (herons in the river especially). The river path is great for a walk or run. There’s a great gelato place down the block. It’s quiet and comfortable. Ken is an amazing host - friendly and helpful. Book this place - and enjoy the real life style of Kyoto. Highly recommend!

This Japanese-style home offered a wonderfully authentic Kyoto experience. It's set in a quiet, green area, surrounded by nature, yet still conveniently close to stores, the train, and restaurants. The house itself is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. I really enjoyed morning runs in the peaceful neighborhood and coffee in the garden. Highly recommend for a relaxed, local feel!

A perfect spot for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We made a small mistake and forgot to return the key when checking out, so we ended up leaving it at Kyoto Station. Bella was very understanding and went out of her way to pick it up, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a wonderful stay in a serene location—highly recommend it if you're seeking calm and relaxation!

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

They responded quickly and were very kind! The facility is also very clean, and unfortunately, the weather We made some wonderful memories! I would like to book this accommodation again when I come to Fukui!

Staying at this AIRBNB was an amazing experience. The host was on top of everything, and was so nice. 👍 I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an escape from the city. The surroundings were breathtaking.

Micky is a great host! One of a kind! From the first day that we exchanged messages till the last day of our stay, she has been nothing but responsive, kind and considerate! Her recommendations were AMAZING, considering that we are a relatively large group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers! She even went that extra mile to help us to source for activities that were suitable for our twins! Even after we had checked-in, she made sure that we were well settled and gifted us the yummiest belgium waffles the next day together with books suitable for our twins to read during their stay! My twins still calls her home the "pretty house"! The home was so cosy and perfect for our 6 nights stay! Imagine the space our twins had to play and run after each other! The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything that we needed for home cooked meals! The entire home was clean and there was also a vacuum cleaner provided! And if you have the chance, please book the private chef experience!! AMAZING!!

We stayed as a family (including a baby) for 1 week, using all 3 bedrooms. The arrangement of the toilets/shower/kitchen is odd, but we made it work. The bedrooms are spacious, just like the photos. Felt like home - very tidy, cozy and clean. The owner welcomed us personally, being really kind to our son and, even though the communication in English was limited, we understood everything. The house is located in a residential, quiet area, so you'll feel at peace here. Keep in mind there's at least 10 minutes walk to the nearest bus station. We used taxi services quite often to get back at night, around 2800 from the city center to the house after 10 PM. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this house :)
