In addition to the satisfaction of the airbies, they provided services that exceeded the usual service, such as being able to participate in the festivities of the area. 　The host was kind and friendly, so they told me things I didn't know right away, and I had no inconvenience!

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

Wow this was a great find. Authentic Japanese accommodation, 10 mins walk from the train station with easy access to Kyoto. Very comfortable stay here, would definitely come back

It is a very convenient location for tourists visiting Uji for many days and for fans of Kyoto who want to visit the sacred sites!The location is right next to Uji Bridge, and across the river is Uji Shrine and Mt. Daikiji, it's close to everywhere!Other than that, although it is a homestay and a shared bathroom, it is fully equipped and very clean, and convenient to use!In addition, the Host was also very friendly at check-in, but I don't speak Japanese and my English is not good, but I understood by body language.Overall, a good experience!

John is one of the best host I’ve ever met at Airbnb. He is very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. He and his wife are very nice. I also love his dogs. They are very cute.

Kenji-san is truly a superhost. He not only received my luggage in advance but also took it upstairs to my room before my arrival. I checked in around 9 and he still gave me instructions and recommendations on where I could go the next 2 days. He is always available to help, whatever it may be. The house itself is beautiful and takes you back in time. There is a certain peace in being in the room. I had a great stay. I unfortunately had it cut it short by one night due to change of plans. I would definitely stay here again.

Michael and Ikuko were amazing hosts! Breakfast was very tasty, with simple dishes that were well prepared by Ikuko herself. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience of waking up in a rural town, away from the bustling cities, and learned a lot about tea. Highly recommend staying here!

This is a typical Japanese house located in a quiet area, it’s super clean and provides everything you need for free, which you need to pay for some of them in other hostels. The receptionist is very helpful and the breakfast sandwiches is delicious too.

Had a wonderful stay in this traditional Japanese room. The host was very friendly and accomodating. He provided us delicious breakfast every morning and gave us good tour spot recommendations. We felt comfortable and welcomed here. Would definitely come again on our next Kyoto trip.

Best Airbnb! we stayed at their 200 yeas old farmhouse with wonderful rooms, a terrace and surroundings. Very cozy big house. We have had a BBQ dinner together with the hosts and they also served us breakfast. it was super great to stay there.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out with any questions or needs. The location is great – it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station and equally close to popular spots like Sanjo and Nishiki Market, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It wasn’t just a standard continental breakfast – each morning, they prepared a full, delicious spread for every guest, which was such a treat to start the day. You could really feel the care and effort they put into making everyone feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The only minor issue was the washer and dryer, which are a bit dated. The dryer took a while to dry a half load, so I’d recommend doing smaller loads or planning laundry for when you have some time to hang out. Overall, I loved my stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting!

I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, very clean room, convenient to bus and subway stops. Also a short walk to the busy shopping street. Breakfast there was a bonus. Very delicious!

the house is beautiful, especially the family room is very worthwhile. the bathroom is common but this never gave problems. the breakfast was really exquisite, the staff one by one very sympathetic. ok would very much like to go back.
