Cosy Townhouse on The Hill in Ireland

JayandRachelRating, 5 stars24 months ago
A comfortable, lovely home in a large village. Groceries near by for cooking at home. A restaurant within walking distance for a dinner out. And the singing pub just down the road for a drink and good music. The home was quiet at night. And Gerard was a terrific host. He shared some wonderful, historical information about the home and the area and was super responsive to our texts. We had a fantastic stay!

Corra-Airbnb

ChristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. The accommodation was very clean, roomy, private and cosy. We both slept very well. There were lots of extras provided such as milk, treats, cereals etc. Joseph was very friendly and welcoming. I can certainly recommend this Airbnb and we will certainly return during our next visit to Ireland.

The Granary, Luxuriously Restored Barn on a Farm

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We cannot adequately describe what a wonderful stay we had at The Granary. The home was perfect for us and Bee had great suggestions for local activities. We took advantage of a number of her recommendations and had a wonderful time. We really felt like we were at the home of a friend. We hope to make our way back here as we had just a perfect getaway. Since this is Bee’s planned retirement home it really reflected her wonderful taste and it was awesome to have a washer and dryer. Highly recommend

McDonald's Farm Cottage, Birr Center of Ireland.

GarethRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The cottage is rural and calm. We wanted to explore some of Ireland during the visit and the central location was ideal for day trips to the West coast and the East coast. For days with less driving and more relaxed there is plenty to see and do locally. We managed to keep two children occupied easily. Can't fault the accomodation or the hosts Marion and John. Memorable week that passed too quickly.
The entrance of the cottage features a red door framed by two windows, one on each side. A pathway made of gravel leads to the door, outlined by a well-kept lawn. Soft lighting highlights the stone exterior at dusk.

Townhouse on The Hill

NikenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My mum and I stayed at Gerard’s while visiting family round the corner, so it was the perfect location and base for us. Very handy for the local link bus stop at Banagher FETC from/to Athlone and from/to Birr which is only a 2min walk from the house. Great amenities in the house for cooking and it has everything you would need, plus the house heated up really well so was lovely and warm. Thanks Gerard for the welcome teabags, milk, bread and butter too and for being incredibly helpful and responsive, we’ll be back!
