Tiny house vacation rentals in Kootenay Lake

Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

This a truly marvellous place to stay. It is remarkable building with great inside spaces, multiple works of art, a great selection of vinyl LP's and good sound system. The whole place has a relaxed easy going and artistic feel. It is also really cosy, the log burner heats the space very effectively and the comfortable bed ensures a great night's sleep. Ymir is an interesting old gold mining town. It has a very friendly local store and a multipurpose trail along the old railway. From Ymir it is easy to access Nelson, great downhill skiing at Whitewater and cross country trails at the Nelson ski club. The Whitewater base lodge is a foodie's delight for lunch whether skiing or not. Nelson is a very relaxed town with some lovely restaurants and cafes. Ainsworth Hot Springs and Kokanee Provincial Park are worth a visit and are recommended for improving body and soul. Accommodation that will linger long in our memory and will probably not be surpassed!

We had a lovely getaway to this remote cabin. Beautiful surroundings in a remote area while still being close enough to Nelson for whatever you might need. Tim was very responsive and helpful as a host.

Yasmin and Zeb's little cabin was bright, cozy and serene. What a beautiful quiet getaway for my boyfriend and I. Yasmin and Zeb have amazing energy too! I hope to be back :)

Our Airbnb experience at Bryce and Bianca's home was exactly what we were looking for while visiting family in Nelson. The private suite we stayed in is very well appointed with high quality finishings. The extra eye for detail and beauty in this home environment did not go unnoticed. I originally booked my stay at The Bus solo to reconnect with myself and nature. My boyfriend later decided to join and we both became excited for our adventure in this peaceful location. From the moment I booked until returning home after our stay, Will was an incredible host. The location, immaculate cleanliness and vibe of The Bus along with the calm, peaceful surroundings were absolute perfection. I highly recommend you take your own adventure to stay at The Bus!

Great location, you just can’t beat being so close to the water! Amazing view, and plenty of space to enjoy the private beach. The beach house is cosy, and the bed is comfortable. The outside shower is so refreshing, and the covered kitchen is well stocked for cooking. A unique and cool place!

Absolutely loved our stay! Very comfortable, clean, quiet, and just a beautiful setting! We enjoyed our 3 day stay immensely, and the hosts are just lovely people. Would reserve again easily, and recommend highly to anyone looking for just one night passing through, or an extended stay to tour around the area. This one’s a keeper!!

My husband & I along with our 2 dogs very much enjoyed our stay in the tiny homes! It has everything you would need and more! It was for sure different having the kitchen & bathroom under a separate roof but we liked & enjoyed the experience. The location & surroundings are absolutely stunning! And the private beach to top it off, wow! Loved loved that there are so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoor from the deck with the hammock, screened & heated pergola & fire pit while being up high literally beside the forest while being secluded. It was overall a spectacular & grounding experience for us. Jody & Alex were amazing hosts. Kind, responsive & helpful. A thorough welcome package was sent prior to arrival that included a list of recommendations that was very much appreciated. Will definitely keep it in our favourites list and are eager to be back!

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Cris was very responsive throughout the entire process, from before check in to clean up. The sound of the creek next to the hot tub is amazing.

We only stayed one night but the property is beautiful and the hosts are super friendly and accommodating. We are definitely going back to stay for a week next year.
