If you want more than peace, tranquility and birdsong, you can visit Sweden, Kongsvinger swimming pool, Fortress, Finnskogen, the golf course and the ski resort at Liermoen or take a walk after mushrooms and berries in the nearby area. If you want to fish, talk to your host about tips. The hiking opportunities are many. Electricity is installed but no running water. Water in water jugs and outhouse. Traditional style.

Take a break and relax in the deep Finnskogen by the lake Møkeren. 150 m to the beach, 150 m to the boat dock with canoe and fishing kayak. The lake has many coves, islands, beaches, etc. 2 cats that need to be fed and cuddled are included. Hiking trails just outside the door. Finnskogrunden, Flyktningeruta, Stolpejakt, Dronningens utsikt, Oppkjølstoppen, as well as countless miles of marked hiking trails. There are outdoor drying racks for bathing and hiking clothes, several dining/seating areas, and a hammock rack. Carport can be used as a patio if needed.

For the sake of our neighbors and that the host lives 100 meters away, we want peaceful guests (not party place)

Finnskogen Nature Farm

Experience Finnskogen! Wander through peaceful, enchanteted forest, on and of the paths, with or without a guide. You get a private flat sleeping. The farm has many animals: Chicken, rabbits, sheep, goats, pigs in outside pens with their own sleeping quarters, and bees. You can pick your own fruit, berries and vegetables and buy meats produced on the farm and cook yourself. Or you can order rustic meals from the farm kitchen. Guided tours of Finnskogen and the local attractions are available.

Newly built atrium house

New, large atrium house is rented. Located right by Kongsvinger Golf Club (by hole 10 for you as is known;)), swimming area, freesbeegolf and nice hiking areas. 10 minutes drive away from Kongsvinger with swimming pool, bowling, paddle, restaurants, Kongsvinger fortress ++. During golf season there is also open restaurant 400 meters from the house, with good food and shyness :) The house contains four bedrooms, with the possibility of making up in an alcove as well.

Enjoy the tranquility of the forest and the simple life at Finnskogen, about 1 h and 45 min drive from Oslo. Easy family friendly forest cabin located by a lake. Here you can fish, swim and stand on sup boards about 10 meters from the cabin, or warm up in a wood-fired hot tub. The cabin has simple standard. There is sleeping space for 8 people in two bedrooms, but for comfortable stay no more than 6 adults are recommended.
