We stayed at Kavitha's homestay for a night, and it was incredibly comfortable. The location is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the middle of a 35-acre coffee plantation, making it the perfect getaway if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. While you might not have a network connection, they offer a very stable internet connection. The nearest town is about 6 km away, so it's best to bring everything you need. We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals for dinner and breakfast, and Kavitha and her family were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

I travelled with my brother to Coorg and we were lucky enough to find this place. This is so much worth of what we have paid. The check in was smooth and Dinesh was really responsive and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The room had sufficient amenities with well maintained attached washroom. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a budget stay in Madikeri. If you are coming by car parking might be a little tricky as bikes could be parked just outside near the compound wall. But I am sure that Dinesh would work around and make it possible if there's no other way!

Highly recommended if you're looking to escape the city and experience true nature. This cottage is designed for relaxation and is located in a serene area, with plenty of spots to explore within a 15–20 km radius. You can spend 3–4 hours roaming nearby places, then come back to unwind—the mornings and evenings here are pure bliss, especially in monsoon-like weather. The host is incredibly responsive and friendly. Thank you, Jyothi, for your warm hospitality, and a special thanks to Jyothsna for patiently addressing all my queries in detail. One small suggestion: it would be great if you could provide an induction stove and some milk in the freezer. It would have been perfect to enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in this beautiful weather—we really missed that. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! 👍

Let's start, I Booked Dinesh's place (Summer Green ) for 3 days (1 to 4 May), Dinesh is very polite and helpful also he is very responsive and sweet. This place is within 2 km from the Madikeri bus stand, you will get auto right from the busstand ( cost 40-50rs). Landmark: ITI college, near Canara Bank. All the local sight seeing are near to this place, you can visit Raja seat (2.5 km from Dinesh's place) by walking around 20-25 mints. but you can book a auto for local sight seeing (it costs us 1300 for full day) for Mandalpatti jeep safari I booked, he took us right from our place early in the morning and dropped us in our place, and took 2000 for two people) Just right toward Dinesh's Place (150-200mt) there is Som's Kitchen, Didi serves very very tasty food. you must try that, we tried sannas (best in coorg). overall if you are coming with family, with couple or friends this place is worth it and safe.

My friend and I planned a sudden trip to Coorg and chose Dinesh Sir’s place for our stay. It was a perfect place for small groups with all the required amenities. It is right next to an auto stand and has an ATM and convenience store right next to it. Dinesh Sir was very responsive and helpful, and provided itinerary recommendations. He also helped us connect to a local taxi service for the locations further away. Our transportation post checkout was pretty late at night and he accommodated our request for flexible checkout. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay, me and my friend had a great time. the care takers were also good and try to resolve most of our Needs. Food was good. long story short, no complaints about the place and would love to go there again with friends or family. If possible book both the rooms it give you good privacy as it will be only you in the property.

Kavitha aunty is a great host! She proactively took care of our needs, always reachable. Very friendly and kind. Gave us all the instructions/ information we needed to know about the area. Since there aren't any restaurants around the property, your best option is to eat at the property itself. Kavitha aunty serves great food (breakfast, afternoon coffee, dinner). The property is peaceful and serene. If you're not looking for something luxurious, this is perfect for you. Perfect for a detoxing, laid back stay. The estate walk is a must! 10/10 recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Villa by creek. We were a family of 14, and we wanted a peaceful getaway for two days, engulfed in the beautiful coffee plantations, with a small creek behind; it was the perfect two days. Akash, the caretaker did a brilliant job in accommodating all of our requests and worked relentlessly to make our stay wonderful. However, there was constant issue with the power supply, which then again was resolved quickly with the help of generators. So, if you are looking to have some good family time/get togethers, I'll recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Coorg! The place was absolutely amazing – peaceful, scenic, and beautifully maintained. The service was top-notch, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Coorg!

The property is surrounded by a coffee plantation, offering stunning views of the Harangi backwaters. Parking is available for 2-3 cars. All rooms were clean, though one had minor water leakage from a cracked sink, which was manageable. The entry has a steep slope, making it slightly challenging for fully loaded cars. The owner graciously provided a complimentary light breakfast. We ordered dinner from the nearby Jungle Lodge Resort, and it was decent. Barbecue and bonfire setup with wood-oil was available, and the owner guided us to a shop for coal. We brought some newspapers that helped light the fire and our own barbecue food/drinks. Being amidst greenery, there were some insects, but mosquito repellents were supplied, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this beautiful property made our New Year’s Eve truly memorable. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Nestled within a peaceful coffee estate, the villa is far removed from the noise and lights of the city. The calm, serene atmosphere quieted my mind when I stepped in — it was exactly the break I needed. Very warm and welcoming hosts, Naniah and his mom, make you feel right at home. They promptly shared all the information before travel and were always checking if everything was alright. The room and bathroom were spotless and thoughtfully maintained, offering the comfort and feel of a true home away from home. Caretaker Akash prepared delicious homemade meals and was always around to help you out. One of the highlights was the walk to the nearby creek, guided by their friendly pet dog, Kutta. He loyally accompanied and protected me along the trail, making the entire experience feel even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from city life, surrounded by nature and hosted by genuinely kind people, Villa by the Creek is exactly the place to be.

Had a calm and enjoyable stay at Wooden Pearl Homestay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Throughout our visit, the hosts made us feel at home and were very helpful. We also had some delectable regional cuisine.
