Basecamp in the White mountains

This small cabin has recently been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

This is a cozy gem in the woods! Looked just like the photos. The home was clean and the decor was beautiful; it had everything we needed. Abby was very communicative prior to our visit with directions on how to get there and how to get in. Located close to hiking trails and climbing areas. The location of the home surrounded by woods gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for. Highly recommend!

My friend and I needed a night to escape traffic & the busy life. We had such a great experience here! It's in a great location, walking distance to the river. Super close to the covered bridge and waterfall. The rooms are clean and adorable, the yard is comfortable and the hot tub was perfection! We will be here again!

This house was by far one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. So beautiful and well-equipped. Cozy with stunning views—no matter which window you look through, it’s always a work of art. The host was very friendly with quick responses and excellent communication. The location is great. We ate at local restaurants and everything was delicious. I highly recommend following the activity guide that Liza provides—there are some really cool things to do.

Me and my fiance were on our way back from the mountains and decided to book this last second for a send off for my 29th birthday. They were super quick to respond and extremely thoughtful. Left a card for my birthday and even put up a happy birthday banner in the window. We already felt super welcome and the view was outstanding. Inside the yurt felt so peaceful and was extremely clean we will definitely be back. As stated in the description the driveway definitely is steep but when you get to the top you will be blown away. Plenty of extra snacks and games, if you forget anything on your trip they will definitely have you covered. Thank you both for being such great hosts and best of luck !

We had the most wonderful few days at the cabin and honestly, the pictures do not do it justice! It was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, we had everything we needed and it had some unique, quirky features. The location was really good, not too far where we wanted to go and you felt like you were right in the middle of nature. If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place!
