It was going from a home to another home❤️ if you are planning on staying with Nikki, don’t hesitate to book. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, she made me feel so at peace and comfortable. Upon arrival I was offered tea, a friendly conversation and a hot water bottle ready in my bed for the cold Scottish weather! She made sure I was always warm enough throughout my stay even going as far as to offer me a luxury wooden jumper! The place is cozy, with fascinating books to indulge in and Dagmar to keep you company 🐈 breakfast was provided and I was encouraged to treat the space like my own. Nikki’s place has a wonderful view to the surrounding nature and the inside is full of colour and character! Shower was wonderful and I was welcomed to use the Scottish cosmetics! She was always on hand if I needed to ask anything or felt unsure, prepared to advice with activities to do. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest yourself, staying with a local, then here it is.

I had a wonderful stay at Anne’s place! The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was perfect. Host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making check-in smooth and stress-free. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Weve all had a very comfortable stay at your lovely accommodation, our two children also felt really settled and happy with their surroundings, they each enjoyed having the opportunity to relax in a double bed which was a bonus. The flat is lovely and has everything your need it's clean well ventilated and spacious. We were here in Glasgow for a family wedding at Boclair house which was perfectly located to the flat, we would definitely look to book again in the future if we stayed again. This was one of the coolest airbnbs I have rented in the past 10 years. It is a unique home that feels comfortably lived in and offers endlessly interesting views of the garden, fish pond, and wildlife including birds and a baby fox that trotted by each morning. The kitchen is amazing and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. We had plenty of room for two couples. Honestly, it was difficult to get motivated to leave the house to explore the city. The walking path to the Botanic Garden and West End is lovely and we enjoyed the canal path so much that we went to the beer garden/restaurant Lock 27 twice in our 4-day stay. We were able to order grocery delivery via Uber Eats and had no trouble getting quick Uber rides to the city or the railway station. We arrived at Maryhill train station and it was a bit griitty over there with many abandoned buildings and a somewhat unpleasant if short walk of about 10 minutes. Next time I would take a taxi from downtown. I hope to visit again!!
