Ihana, erähenkinen mökki hiljaisuuden keskellä ja kauniissa maisemassa. Sauna oli todella hyvä ja lähdevesiavannossa tuli pulahdettua useita kertoja. Mökissä oli kaikki, mitä hyvään lomaan tarvitaan. 😊

Super séjour chez Esa. Le logement est authentique et paisible. Nous étions ravis d’aller chercher l’eau à la rivière, d’allumer un bon feu de cheminée et de profiter de la nature environnante. Le sauna est a faire absolument: on a adoré en profiter le soir et apercevoir des aurores boréales en sortant du sauna. Le logement comporte tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de bons moments dans la région. Esa nous a très bien accueilli et expliqué toutes les spécificités du logement. Des raquettes ( adultes et même pour enfants) et des luges étaient à disposition pour se balader dans les environs. C’était parfait, merci beaucoup Esa.

The house was nice , warm and cozy. Feel like home. The location was great. Just 3 mins to supermarket and 3 mins to Sweden. The view was breathtaking. Amazing

Tunnelmallinen mökki rauhallisella paikalla. Loistava sauna rannalla!

Wir haben es absolut geliebt! Die Hütte ist total heimelig und lädt zu gemütlichen Spielenachmittagen vor dem flackernden Ofen ein. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sogar Basislebensmittel wie Mehl, Tee, div. Gewürze, Nudeln, Reis, etc. waren vorhanden. Nicht unwichtig wenn der nächste Supermarkt 70km entfernt ist. Keine fünf Gehminuten ist der See entfernt, ein perfekter Ort zum Polarlichter schauen. Freie Sicht in alle Richtungen, sofern es die Wolken zulassen ;-) Keine nennenswerte Lichtverschmutzung in der Umgebung, ein Traum. Tero hat uns auf Anfrage diverse Aktivitäten empfohlen, wodurch wir Janne, den Rentierzüchter in Unari kennengelernt haben. Das war wirklich eine besondere Erfahrung, zwischen hunderten von Rentieren zu stehen, die sich wie wild ums Futter getummelt haben. Wir sind uns wie in einer Tierdoku vorgekommen ;-) Also wer es gerne abgeschieden mag, ist hier genau richtig :-D

Notre hôte a été très attentionné de notre arrivée à notre départ. toujours de bon conseil avec nous, nous avons pu voir et faire ce que nous souhaitions en Finlande. la maison est idéalement située entre kitilla et rovianemie avec un supermarché à 5 min , au calme dans une forêt. la maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos et il y a tout le confort. aucune pollution lumineuse aux alentours, nous avons pu voir les aurores boréales sur place. c'était magique et magnifique.

Mökki oli tunnelmallinen ja erittäin toimiva 4 hengen lapsiperheelle. Juhana vastaili kysymyksiin nopeasti. Parasta mökissä oli puusauna ja avotakka sekä rauhallinen ympäristö. Lähdettiin hiihtämään Hannukaisista ja Luosujärveltä ja molempiin oli mökiltä autolla lyhyt 10min ajomatka. Suoraan mökin pihasta pääsi myös lähiympäristöön hiihtämään metsäsuksilla ja lumikengillä.

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft mit privater Sauna und Jaccuzzi. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wie zu Hause. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist bequem und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das fantastisch gelegene und ausgerüstete Saunahaus wird mit den Besitzern geteilt was absolut kein Problem ist. Das ganze Grundstück ist gepflegt und liegt schön an einem grossen See. Die Sicht über den See mit Polarlichtern ist unvergesslich. Ausserordentlich freundliche Vermieter die sich sehr grosse Mühe geben. Jukka hat uns sehr gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Majoitus oli siisti ja kuvausta vastaava , vuodesohva oli hyvä jämäkkä nukkua ja keittiössä kokkaili hyvin ! saunassa sai tosi hyvät löylyt ja "kodassa" pihalla oli kiva istua syyskuista iltaa . Olimme mieheni kanssa kahden reissunpäällä Norjaan joten vietimme vain yhden yön mökillä 😊

An exceptional stay! The location is perfect—close to the main town yet nestled in a peaceful, private setting. The house is impeccably clean, with a very comfortable interior, and the bed and pillows are of outstanding quality. The amenities were top-notch. The jacuzzi and sauna were spotless and easy to use, and having our own ice pool was an absolute highlight! The view of the northern lights from the lakeside location was simply unparalleled—hands down the best spot to witness this natural wonder. Thank you, Lauri, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay unforgettable!

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

Une expérience unique et authentique vécue avec notre bébé dans cette magnifique yourte 🛖🥰 avec en bonus notre première aurore boréale, le rêve absolu !🤩 Kati nous a accueilli chaleureusement en nous présentant la yourte qui est plus grande que ce que l’on s’imaginait et décorée telle que sur les photos. Notre fils s’est senti comme à la maison c’était un pur plaisir! 😊 Le petit coin bar/petit déjeuner composé de petites friandises et boissons est bien plus qu’appréciable! Le personnel a été sympathique et serviable. Cette yourte est la plus près des toilettes/douches qui sont à l’extérieur. Nous avions peur d’avoir froid en sortant de la douche avec les températures négatives mais cela ne s’est finalement pas avéré désagréable. Site un peu éloigné du centre de Rovaniemi il est recommandé d’avoir un véhicule pour plus de flexibilité. Le seul bémol serait que c’est passé beaucoup trop vite car nous y sommes restés qu’une seule nuit mais nous retenterons l’expérience à l’ave

très belle maison, chaleureuse. Bel environnement et paisible. On peut prendre un sauna et ensuite descendre les escaliers et nager dans le fleuve. Nous avons vu des aurores boréales le premier et dernier jour de nos vacances depuis le chalet. Le village du Père Noël n'est qu'à 30 mn du châlet ainsi que la ville de Rovaniemi. Hôte très réactive.

The super cozy cabin was perfect for our stay in Lapland! There was everything you need for a relaxing vacation: Sauna, cozy interior, a fireplace, fully equiped kitchen, snow shoes, cross country skiers, kick sleds etc. It's very close to the lake in a absolutely calm area. We saw the northern lights twice right in Front of the cabin. Satu was very friendly, responded immediately to our Messages and gave us all the information we needed. Everything was perfect!

This house is one of the best we stayed in and it felt so comfortable. It is very spacious with comfortable beds, showers, sauna and quite modern. The location is spectacular, 30 minutes drive from Rovaniemi, near the river and the presence of a reindeer who came everyday munching moss around the house made it magical for the kids. Matti is a great host and we will definetely come back.

Most amazing holiday ever. Perfect for northern lights, unique sauna experience, snow fun, ice fishing, snowshoeing, sledding- all from the doorstep. Total privacy, no neighbours and only 15min from the city and SCV. Reija offered and hosted lots of activities and gave best ideas what to do. She was perfect. Went to the magical forest walk directly from the house. Saw reindeers and northern lights. The house and the saunabuilding were amazing with fully equipped kitchen and other amenities. The best view ever, lots of fun outdoors in the snow. I really want to come back to see the summer as well. Thank you Reija for your hospitality and making all my dreams come through.

This is an ideal place to stay in Lapland. It is 20 mins drive from the airport and Santa Clause visit, so easy to reach, but also in a very quiet and idyllic location. The host is very friendly and always easy to contact. I took my daughters (8 and 11) and they loved it, especially the sledging around the cabin. Also a great spot to see the northern lights.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake house — the views were absolutely magical and serene. The home was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a peaceful winter getaway. We loved exploring the snowy surroundings and can’t wait to come back!

A truly unique & alternative experience away from the more touristy/gimmicky options in Lapland. Teemu is an amazing host & made sure we had the perfect stay. When we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm fire, a snow-chilled bottle of champagne & an evening sleigh ride down the frozen river. When we didn’t have plans, he gave us local suggestions & made phone calls on our behalf. His adventures/experiences were also so much fun & we would highly recommend booking at least one dinner as well as his privately guided snowmobile trip. Teemu is a fantastic chef and we greatly enjoyed a 3 course salmon meal in the cozy & pleasantly decorated dinner cabin. The snowmobile ride is worth the price considering you get a 4hour trip across Teemu’s expansive private land & away from the public trail network. Lunch & photography also included. This is one of our favorite Airbnb’s to date & the pictures don’t do it justice. Our stay surpassed all expectations. Very happy we booked!

Una estancia increíble, de película! Maikku y Jurko han sido unos anfitriones increíbles, nos han ayudado con toda la información que necesitábamos y han estado siempre pendientes de que todo fuera perfecto. La casa es super bonita, calentita y equipada con todo, con unas vistas preciosas y una Sauna increíble, que se puede alternar con salir al patio y ya es una experiencia top! El esquí por el lago helado ha sido increíble, y hemos tenido la suerte de una Nochevieja con el cielo despejado y unas auroras increíbles!! Nos pudimos hacer buenas fotos en el lago y nos quedamos dormidos viendo auroras desde la cama! Nos consideramos muy afortunados por habernos alojado en la casa de Jurko y Maikku!! Lo mejor de nuestro viaje!! Muchas gracias a los dos por un recuerdo para siempre!
