The Old School, Insh

This self catering cottage was originally a rural school built about 1830. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Insh in Strathspey with the Cairngorm Mountains on one side and the Monadhliath Mountains to the west. The cottage adjoins the famous Insh Marshes Bird Reserve. There are several good golf courses nearby. fishing is also available and the whole area is very scenic and perfect for walking. Three miles away is beautiful Loch Insh where water sports are available.

The split level house is on 5 levels with lovely light and great views. The house provides flexible family accommodation, as well as fabulous scenery and is close to all local amenities. Beautiful Edwardian flat in the Cairngorms.

The flat is located within the main house with shared access but otherwise fully independent with a separate staircase. The house is Edwardian, built in 1913, and retains its original features. West Terrace is a cul-de-sac leading towards the popular Creag Bheag summit. The flat is light and airy with a good wi-fi connection. Please note there is no TV.
