Beach house vacation rentals in Kilmory

What a wonderful place. I have been coming to the island since I was a boy and this was the first year I could bring my own child to enjoy the most magical place. The house is perfect. A stunning location, clean, warm and spacious. We had a wonderful week and made some truly special memories. We will return!

We had a fabulous time at Marc's place. Friendly community & local pub just down the road with great prices & great food. Fantastic views of the river, from the lounge & front bedroom. River island just steps away. Parking was available right outside the property. Everything we required was available & was good quality. Beds were comfortable, bedrooms spacious, & the whole accommodation was immaculate. Communication from Marc & owner was very considerate of our dog. I needed somewhere to dry our washing & found an unused, unerected washing line in the garden that I reattached and bought pegs for that proved a great source for drying out clothes. I recommend Marc's place wholeheartedly & would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you for being such fabulous hosts.

The cabin was superb, although the midges came out to play every day. You can avoid the worst of them by avoiding dawn and dusk, & using Smidge and Citronella candles. The hot tub was a must although it does take a little getting used to. My tip would be to give yourself plenty of time, use decent quality dried birch logs and use the bubbles to mix the water regularly. Keep an eye on the temperature as it can get REALLY hot. The cabin was great for spotting wildlife - we saw Ospreys, and had a spotted woodpecker eating off the bird feeders, though sadly no red squirrels. One thing worth a mention is that there is a SMALL fish farm just 'round the corner on the Loch. This might put some off, but the Loch was lovely and clear and we swam and paddleboarded without incident. Clachan Inn in Dalry well worth a visit, but be prepared for a very laid back evening - they aren't in a hurry but the food is worth waiting for.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The house is beautiful and in a great location right next to the water. Everything is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the water are so relaxing. The Kilcreggan cafe and The Creggans pub serve lovely food. The decking area outside is great to sit and relax. Highly recommend!

The Lookout was a very beautiful place to stay, very clean, comfortable, fabulous views, Rebecca was so friendly and kind, very responsive, and she made me feel warmly welcome, cant wait to return Barbara

Andrew's place is superb. He met us with a warm welcome and then we were shown our room which has the most incredible view out across the garden and the sea to the Holy Isle. Everything you need is provided for --extremely comfortable bed, very well supplied kitchen and a sparkling bathroom. For me one of the priorities in choosing an air b n b is that it should be accessible for me as a disabled person. Andrew's place fits the bill as i was able to easily access the 2 steps at the front of the bungalow on my sticks and then, again easily, transfer to using wheels around the property. Really nice place, lovely view.

A spacious period family home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The highlight is the conservatory, giving a panoramic view of Lamlash Bay. We enjoyed sitting in comfortable surroundings watching seals on the shore. Only 15 minutes stroll to the peer and local amenities, including the Co-Op. And just 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal while also located in a quiet spot. We love Arran and highly recommended this property!

Maureen & Thomas Your house made our adventure very enjoyable! It was spotless and very comfortable, it just felt as if we were in our own home. Instructions were clear and we loved the tips given in the house booklet. My son couldn’t resist and devoured the lovely treats you’ve given us. Glenarm is a lovely part of the world and, as it was our first time in the area, we decided to visit the castle walled forest and the forest garden (dogs allowed in both) my child loved riding in the Land Rover experience. We also had nice walks around the town, beach, harbour, and a good drive around. We had a very happy family weekend and your place helped massively to keep us well rested. Many thanks for all. Regular visitors to the island but first time staying in Brodick. The house was perfect for our family group of four generations and we settled in easily. The hot, sunny weather had just broken so we didn't make as much use of the beautiful garden as we'd hoped to, but the location was great for walking to eat or drink. We cooked dinner several times in our stay and found everything we needed, and the big table made it easy for food, good conversation and board or card games. We would happily return again.

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

Great house right on the sea front has a lovely private sun trap out the back for days when the sun shines beds are very comfortable house exceptionally clean has the benefit of being close to town center for all shops and cafes and if wanted there is a lovely pub 1 min walk away

Fantastic property, well looked after, and thanks for the bonus biscuits, milk and prosecco. Easy to enter, everything ready. Responsive to communication and helped out with something left over.

Great location, with an easy walk to shops, restaurants and pub. Stairs to upstairs bedrooms won’t be for everyone, but this is noted in the house description provided. Thanks for having us stay, Fenton.

Absolutely amazing property. Beautifully decorated and very homely. The house was so well equipped with everything you could need. Situated in a perfect setting, very short walk to restaurants and pubs. Also lots of lovely walks very nearby. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Accommodation was in a great location with on street parking close to the town centre. All bedrooms were well proportioned with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of glasses, tableware and cutlery. Overall the accommodation met with our expectations.

Monica’s house exceeded our expectations! Location is perfect and the enclosed garden got the sun all day and was perfect for our dog Daisy to relax in. We loved this Airbnb so much. The area brought back such super memories for me as my wee Mum lived at the top of the street many years ago. The house is perfectly appointed with everything needed for a great stay. The big kitchen and spotless bathrooms, the lovely garden, and cute bedrooms are super. The proximity of the train, bus, airport, shops, pubs, restaurants and last but not least …the beach ….are excellent. The sunset last night 200% !!!!! Yes … book this beauty spot now. It is wonderful and the host is very responsive. Thank you John we can’t wait to come back !!!

Would highly recommend Beach view cottage. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is also ideal for staying on the beautiful island of Gigha - an easy short walk to the beach, Achamore gardens or for a drink at The Boathouse. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This bungalow was absolutely awesome! So well stocked and spotlessly clean. The kitchen had every possible utensil anyone could need (although we ate out every day!!). This was our first experience of AirBnB and we were slightly apprehensive, but we didn't need to be. Thank you Georgie for providing such a lovely base for us to explore the beautiful island of Arran.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. A beautiful property in a peaceful location with all the amenities you need. We were so lucky to have a week of non-stop sunshine and the garden was the perfect place to soak that up from morning to late evening. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rothesay with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay in Kate’s beautiful home! Clean, tidy & very homely! Plenty of space for 8 people to stay and not feel on top of each other! Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back!

Having been fortunate to have stayed at Airbnb locations across the world in the last 10 years I can honestly say this was one of the best we have stayed at. The welcome was so lovely and we really appreciated the little touches that has been taken to make our stay special. The house is really cute and so stylishly done! This was one of the best properties we have used through Airbnb and I cannot fault it. We were also lucky enough to meet the property owner on the beach across from the house, she was such a lovely lady and made us feel really welcome. We would definitely recommend the house to other people and would certainly stay here in future.
