Gap of Dunloe Shepherd's Cottage

PaulRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The cottage was stunning and the only way to describe the setting is magical. The landscape and mountains surrounding it give spectacular views. Sheep and horses all around, my kids loved it. Patrick is very responsive and gave fantastic instructions. The food at Kate’s was great and highly recommended the jaunting carts. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks again Patrick!

Luxurious Apartment in the Reeks District

StephanieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was our fourth time staying at Gene's place, and there are so many reasons why we keep coming back. The flat is big, beautifully decorated, sunny and gorgeous, with lovely views, a huge very modern kitchen and two sparkling bathrooms. Gene had even put out autumnal decorations for our arrival! We feel so at home here -- you don't even have to go anywhere, you can just enjoy the views of the mountains from the sitting room. But there's lots to do, great walks (Gap of Dunlop, Tomie's Wood) nearby and Killarney's pubs and restaurants not much further. What really makes this place special, though, are Gene's lovely parents Celia and Mossie, who live downstairs and are so incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. We are always so well taken care of when we are there -- we can't wait to go back!
A comfortable sitting area features a gray sofa adorned with colorful pillows. A coffee table holds a tea tray, and a lamp rests beside it. Large windows provide a view of the lush garden and distant mountains, allowing natural light to fill the space.

The place was clean and exactly as shown in pictures. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the restaurant for a small charge. Would stay here again!

Luxury Lakehouse, Cottage & Lakeshore Sauna

CourtneyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We can’t wait to come back here! We’ve just returned from 4 nights staying in easily the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever booked; the photos don’t do this place justice. We’d initially planned to spend most of our time exploring the ring of Kerry but changed our plans to spend as much time at the house instead. The kayaks, sauna and use of the lake made for a really enjoyable weekend of family fun. Lorraine and Claire were fantastic hosts! We will be recommending this place to everyone!

Joy’s River Lodge - Relaxing Stay

MikeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We cannot say enough about this house and location. We had 3 nights here and were so happy with the great location and and beautiful setting. Check in was simple and we felt at home immediately. While we were gone most of the days touring around, we were there to enjoy our coffee outside by the river in the morning watching the ducks and their babies, then a few drinks in the evening when the weather cooperated. There were 4 of us in the house and there was plenty of room for us all. We had everything we needed and it is very close to the downtown where you can find pubs and shopping. We walked into town every evening and enjoyed music in a few of the local pubs. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay.
