Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Killarney

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy, quiet and the decoration is very nice, chosen with great taste. Mathieu is discreet but very responsive to our messages. Thanks to him for his trust. We would be happy to recommend this beautiful place.

We spent four unforgettable nights at Seaview House and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The panoramic views of Derrynane Bay and the Skellig Islands were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect retreat. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to cook several meals at home. After long days of hiking and sightseeing, we really appreciated the comfy beds and hot showers. We loved watching the sheep graze just outside and taking the short walk to the nearby pier, where we met friendly locals and even found some sea glass on the rocky beach. The location is ideal—close to Caherdaniel and beautiful beaches, but still quiet and relaxing. With easy access to the Kerry Way, Skellig tours, and nearby historic sites, this home is a perfect base for exploring the area. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend Seaview House to anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway on the Ring of Kerry.

Of the five houses we rented across the UK and Ireland, this was our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness, especially when it came time to repack luggage for our return trip. The location is ideal. Anyone visiting Killarney National Park should consider a stay here, away from the town of Killarney, but close enough to get supplies and perfectly located at the start of the Gap of Dunloe. We loved being able to just walk to Kate Kearney's Cottage for dinner each night (though it was tough to get a table with all the bus tours, so book in advance!) and pop into the Coffee Shop Cafe for a quick breakfast before beginning the day's adventure. If I ever return to county Kerry, this is where I would book a stay.

This was our first time to Ireland, and so glad we chose the Dingle Peninsula. This listing is exactly as shown on AirBnB, but in reality is more beautiful. It is very spacious, with a lovely great room (kitchen/dining) where we spent a lot of our time, but the side living room made a great jigsaw puzzle room. The laundry was also spacious, and once we Americans figured out all the electronics of the kitchen and laundry we were quite satisfied. We three couples each had a highly satisfactory bedroom and bath. The walk from the house to the "Star Wars Beach" gave us a chance to get to know many lambs and their mommies (it was lambing season), along with great exercise. The fresh air was so therapeutic. While it was a long trip to get out there from Dublin, it was well worth it. The 30 minute drive to Dingle was only a challenge because we had a van, and had to get used to its size on narrow roads. And Dingle itself is delightful. HIGHLY recommended.

What a great stay at a beautifully well appointed home. Plenty of space and lots nice touches to make you feel welcome. Siobhan was awesome and so friendly. Her communication was quick and timely. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Amiee’s boathouse was a wonderful place to stay in. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve been in. Everything in the picture is exactly how it is when you get there. Checking in was easy and the drive was beautiful. This place is perfect for couples that want to be in a secluded place but close enough to other towns nearby. Perfect location for hiking and walking. Amiee was an excellent host. She makes you feel like you are right at home. I could tell she was very thoughtful on the boathouse’s presentation. She left us some homemade jam and recommendations for other activities as well. Looking forward to coming back! 😊❤️

Denise’s place was my favorite place while staying in Ireland. I truly wish we had more time to stay there! So many different activities to do in the surrounding area. The house itself was immaculate - from the kitchen, to the bedrooms, to the bathrooms. Denise had some things waiting for us when we got there including milk, cereal, cookies, jam, coffee, and tea. It was so helpful and nice having a washer/dryer on site to do laundry during our Ireland road trip. Would definitely recommend others to stay here!

Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and part of a beautiful house. Our host, Breege, was very friendly and welcoming. It was so kind of her to leave fresh brown bread, eggs, milk, and other essentials for our arrival. We only stayed one night, but we'd happily return and would love to try one of her yurts next time!

Lils Airbnb just outside the enchanting village of Adare was perfect. Ten minute walk to town. Beautiful garden. She was extremely responsive and helpful. She even brought us back to town on our final day and returned with our luggage at our bus departure time! Beds were very comfortable , slept well.

We had a great time. Anne was lovely, really helpful and provided great recommendations for local attractions. The apartment was very spacious, and matched the photos. Anne provided a very generous welcome pack which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. The area was very scenic and peaceful, and a great access point for the Beara peninsular. I would highly recommend staying here.

Johns place was worth every penny! The palace was even better than described. We didn’t know that most places stop serving dinner around 9pm, however, John’s downstairs pub went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accommodate us for dinner (which was delicious). Although you’re staying right above his pub, we had no issues with noise. Would 1000% stay again. Thanks John!

Top notch stay! Simon’s place is beautiful, clean, and spacious! The location is perfect -extremely walkable, but not noisy, etc! 5 minute walk to the bus stop. Excellent communication. Highly recommend this stay!

This place is such a gem! Patrick's place is a beautiful apartment with a lovely view, close enough to walk to shops, pubs, and tours in Dingle, but just far enough away that we had no noise whatsoever from town. The rooms are clean, cheery, and bright, and we felt right at home. Parking was easy, and we had every modern amenity we could have wanted - even a standalone dryer! It's hard to imagine a better host than Patrick, who was as kind, responsive, helpful, and engaging as could be. His local recommendations were excellent (and we were thrilled with each one!) and we could tell he truly cared about our stay. Chatting with him was one of the highlights of our trip, and we're looking forward to coming back and having a longer stay!

The lodge was an amazing break from our whirlwind tour of Ireland. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the town of Glenngarriff was fun. Highly recommend!

Myself and my friends came for a relaxing stay in west cork and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings and furnishings in the home with ample space for the 8 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evening time! Brian is a fabulous host and was really helpful and made checking in and out a breeze. A fabulous bank holiday weekend!

We have just spent a marvellous week at Grainne's holiday home. It is indeed a magical place with beautiful sea views and within walking distance of Baltimore village/harbour. So much to explore around this historical area and beyond. Did day trips to Sherkin Island and Garnish Island (which is about an hours drive away), a hike to the iconic Beacon is a must. Great restaurants and a small local pub nearby all serving brilliant seafood and the freshest fish. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy beds and lounge furniture for relaxing and reading or just admiring the view! Best of all was that there was no television...fantastic to get away from the outside world for a while, give the head some peace. Cant wait to revisit West Cork again. Thank you Grainne for all the great local information and suggestions and for being so responsive and friendly.

We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

My family loved being here for Christmas. It is one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever seen and so incredibly peaceful. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very well appointed for our family of five.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!

Unique house and surroundings, great to have the gardens to explore and the small beach on your doorstep. Breakfast was excellent and Jessica and her husband were excellent hosts.
