It is the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. A place for rest and relaxation, where you can completely unwind. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. La'al Yam is 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms

The Garden Studio, Lake District with parking.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

Pretty cottage, quiet location in view of the River Kent. All amenities walking distance with regular access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.
