Vacation rentals with breakfast in Kenai Peninsula Borough

WOW!! Sea Bright Lodge is an amazing one-of-a-kind experience. From the start, you have Connie taking care of you and helping to coordinate your stay and experience. On the day-of, you have a private skipper, Phil (and super awesome doggo, Boomer) greeting you at Homer Spit and acting as both your transportation and host to take you over to China Poot Bay. Upon arrival, you are greeted to a total labor of love built by Pat McBride - an amazing home built onto the shores of China Poot Bay (with a wood-fired sauna!) in one of the most secluded and tranquil locations you have likely encountered. Beautiful rustic home perched atop the beach that appears and disappears with the huge tides. If you are lucky to stay during a super low tide, there's tons of mussels to be had. During your stay, Phil acts as your host and private skipper taking you where you want to go to - we went to Grewingk Glacier, Grace Ridge, and Seldovia. You're not bound by water taxi schedules, and Phil makes sure you're getting dropped off and picked up promptly. In-between Phil will tell you a lot of tales of his times on the seas and also be constantly on the lookout for wildlife. At night, Sea Bright is tranquil with often the only sound being the bore tide coming in-and-out as you sit on the deck. It's almost a shame to go to sleep as morning will come too quickly. The stay goes by way too quickly - Sea Bright Lodge is magical. As you depart with Phil and Boomer on the Tide Runner, he does one last search for wildlife as we leave China Poot Bay and brings you back to Homer Spit. Connie is there waiting for you to arrive, with a truck, to help bring your luggage up the dock as you exchange farewell with the Skipper. As a final wrap up, Connie makes sure that your experience went well and is kind to listen to some final stories of your experience to wrap up such a wonderful experience. If we are ever in the Homer area, we hope to have the privilege to stay at Sea Bright Lodge again - this is something we will be reminiscing about for many years to come.

What an absolutely amazing place to spend some time in Homer. The home was clean and perfectly decorated. Everything we could have wanted was in the home including paper plates. The water pressure was unexpected for Alaska and a welcome surprise. Overall one of the best and perfectly described air bnb’s my family has ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

I travelled to Anchorage for a conference, with my research group (1 colleague, 3 grad students, 1 post-doc). Given the location, we stayed for an extra 4 days, and most of us went with our wives. Jessica's large house was an excellent choice for our group. The location is residential, very peaceful, located only a few miles from downtown. The house has 5 large bedrooms plus a smaller one. The dining table is huge, and the kitchen is well equipped for a large group. Two in our group are players, so the piano saw lots of action. Wonderful house for a large group, and great value. Highly recommendable if you have your own vehicle.

Lovely place! Linda and Rick were so friendly and helpful. They are experts of surrounding exploration and fishing. They provided a lot of useful information touring around Anchorage. 100% recommend!

John place was just as described, we felt right at home. John is a nice host and responded right away. Location was great in the middle of town close to a lot of places that we went to. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Martin's place. It was conveniently located close the airport, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none as well appointed as this one. The breakfast items were so very appreciated. I high recommend Martin's place.

Jennifer was very helpful with suggestions on what to check out around town. She’s also super flexible with us booking the day before and letting us drop our luggage off earlier than the listed check. Only stayed for a day, but definitely worth it!

This is a great place to stay that has everything you’d need! It’s spacious and clean. The beds were comfy. There’s blackout shades in the bedrooms. I would most definitely stay here again to explore the Kenai River area!

Didn’t have a pen on hand to write in the book, the place felt exactly like home, the view in the kitchen was beautiful!, the shower/tub was definitely wonderful after long walking! 10/10 would recommend and would stay again! Also the hosts are super friendly and respond fast!

Will was absolutely awesome and made my stay in AK very comfortable. Great guy and an even better host. I stayed for almost 3 months, and he checked in regularly to see if I needed anything. Re-stocked any toiletries that ran out. Very professional and truly loves this business. If this place is open and you are in the area - I would book this place as fast as possible. I will be back in AK next summer and will be staying here again or at least one of Will's properties. I can't say enough about how good of a dude Will is and how much I loved my stay in AK in large part because of my stay at Will's place.

The host was very proactive in communication and made sure we had the information before we arrived. Access was easy and the directions were clear. I appreciated how convenient the location was to all the activities we had planned.

What a wonderful m, relaxing stay! We enjoyed relaxing and watching the mountains and ocean come in and out of view through the fog and clouds. We saw a moose and what looked like a fox out the window. The cabin is so cozy and easily slept our group of 3 comfortably. The beds are amazing! We were happy to arrive to some food in the fridge and snacks on the countertop. What a treat! I would love to come back.

I highly recommend Cheryl's place, it felt very comfortable, like home. Gracious and hospitable hosts. Apartment was clean and well stocked, with thoughtful details. Easy to find (we used an Uber) and easy to access the unit. As soon as we got inside we felt like we could relax and unwind, it was very cozy and nice. We hope to stay here again anytime we need lodging in Anchorage.

We are 1.5 weeks into our visit to Alaska. Traveling every town! But nothing beats our stay on the lake with June. It was Absolutely beautiful and everything/ more than what we imagined for our wedding night! I can not stress enough how much this stay meant to us! The views, bed comfort, fire place and bathroom just blew us away!!! Don’t pass up!!!!! You will regret it!

I had an excellent stay with Ed and Renee! Both are terrific and kind hosts who also live in the home. Although it was a short stay, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with them for 20 minutes or so upon arrival. The personal bedroom and shared bathroom were very clean and nicely appointed. There was plenty of shampoo/bodywash/conditioner and towels as needed. Their cozy home was easy to find in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The location was convenient for me, being just over 20 minutes from where I met my guide for a fishing charter the next morning on the Kenai River. They had some light breakfast options and coffee available in the morning. Can't say enough about how nice they were. I would highly recommend their place!

Can't say enough about the Red Cabin B&B! We stayed in the smaller annex which was everything we needed. The location is just perfect, remote yet close to Kenai and Soldatna and all the area offers, a great home base while in the area. John and Jacquie are wonderful hosts, eager to share their love and extensive knowledge of the area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, and plenty of breakfast food. The welcoming committee, Lola, Sandy and three horses was a happy surprise! A great place to stay in this area, hope to return some day.

Very comfortable and quiet location. We were able to bring our dog which meant a lot to us. Very responsive and polite hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at La Casa Azul in Seward, Alaska! The home was immaculate—so clean, cozy, and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. Yolanda was a fantastic hostess, thoughtful and welcoming. Every morning, she had a lovely breakfast laid out for us, which was such a special touch. We truly felt at ease and well cared for during our stay. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Seward—thank you, Yolanda, for making our trip so memorable!

I arrived after midnight from New Zealand on the back of 40 hours of traveling with no sleep. The home was easy to find, warm, and very welcoming, like coming home! The home is amazing, great bedroom. I love the different levels and quiet rejuvenating spaces, especially the kitchen table set in-front of the bird feeders which double as a squirrel attraction. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Alaska in a home away from home. It’s a real treat! Thank you so much Elijah for being such a wonderful host!🙂

It was very easy to communicate and a very nice space for my trip. Joanna provided everything I needed and made my stay very nice. I am grateful to her for sharing her home.

Eric greeted us as soon as we pulled in and helped get the cars settled in the right spot and then made sure he had a proper head count for the following mornings breakfast. After that, Sue gave us a tour of the property and made sure we had everything we needed and took good care of us. In the morning Eric cooked up an amazing breakfast for the house. Everything was amazing and we appreciated being able to relax after such a long travel day.
