We had a relaxing and wonderful weekend stay at Sunset Retreat! Debbie was an excellent host - timely, clear communication, very friendly with lots of local recommendations and accommodating of all our requests. The cottage was pristine and full of thoughtful touches - everything from ear plugs to fresh cut flowers at every bedside to a personalized welcome card and basket. It easily slept and accommodated our 10 guests in comfort and style. Highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat to unwind and recharge. We hope to be back soon!

lovely spot for some quiet outside time. backyard is spacious and welcoming. plenty of options for seating to enjoy sun or shade. kitchen was absolutely amazing to prepare food in, well organized and nicely laid out. rooms were tidy and clean, plenty of space to sleep 6 comfortably. would highly recommend this spot

Fantastic spot. So close to Fenelon or Bob Caygeon. Private location and perfect for families or guests wanting a little space. Great communication

This place was SO beautiful! Everything is new and well maintained. The interior is gorgeous. The fireplace and living room have such a nice ambience; cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean and very presentable too. Staying here for the weekend was exactly the mini staycation we needed. The cottage is stocked with everything you may need! Hot tub was amazing too. Can't say enough great things & we'll definitely be back. Hosts were quick to respond as well 😊 best part: our dog enjoyed his stay also!

The place looked exactly as in pictures. The house was clean and organised when we checked in. It was so peaceful, worth the price. We had fun! And hosts were amazing, helpful and responsive.

My husband and I had a great stay at Daniel’s place. Took advantage of the fire pit and peddle boat and the peaceful surrounding. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

we thoroughly enjoyed the place especially our kids with so many things to do in the basement with Arcade, football, cards table and play station. Also, the living space was spacious and clean for a few families to spend some quality time.

Angie and Julius’s condo was even nicer than expected! Was plenty of space for our family of 4. Very thoughtful hosts who always responded quickly. Highly recommend!

It was quite an enjoyable experience, the environment of the stay was clean and many of the amenities were included.

Shahrear's cottage was beautiful inside and out, secluded and private from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was fully equipped with kitchen necessities and also had linens bedding provided. Shahrear was very responsive and friendly from booking to check out. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway!

The place was beautiful, looking out onto a lake with clean swimmable water. And there was a beach only 5 minutes away. Everything inside the house was clean and well-stocked. Richard was also very responsive with any inquiries. Overall, a great place, very well worth it!

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. We just spent 2/3 days at Rachel’s cottage and it was amazing! Stunning sunset views, super peaceful and we lucked out with good weather Pros: Easy to find location SUPERB outdoor space with multiple seating areas and a dock to fish from We saw sooo many fish & even a snake in the water) Clean home Kitchen has every utensil / dish / pot Neighbours close but friendly Ceiling fans in all rooms Strong AC unit was great Cons: Small indoor space (wasn’t an issue for us as we were outdoors most of the time) Only 1 toilet/bathroom (not ideal for a family but fine for a couple) Mattresses uncomfortable Would definitely recommend and would love to come back

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!
