Our Kubu & Kwena stay was one of our highlights on our trip through Botswana and Namibia. We had mistakenly booked what I thought was a camping site that included tented accommodation. Johan assisted us with an upgrade to a luxury tented unit at a reasonable adjustment, we really appreciated his hospitality. Their staff are great as are their available activities. The guides on the birding and fishing activities, which we did, were knowledgeable, and made our Zambezi River experiences something to always remember. Highly recommended.

A children’s play area is situated on a sandy surface, featuring two wooden structures with tan canopies. One structure includes swings and a climbing rope, while the other showcases a tire swing. Lush green grass and trees surround the play area.

Simply put, we loved our stay at Kubu & Kwena! We stayed for peaceful & relaxing 3 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer! From the welcoming ice cold juice we got on arrival, to the friendly staff, awesome sunset (and sunrise) views over the Zambezi, everything exceeded our expectations.

Joe is a very nice, friendly landlord. He was already expecting us when we arrived. The apartment is functional, equipped without unnecessary stuff. We felt comfortable there.

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything we wanted was catered for. The Place is right next to the Zambezi River and you can watch all the animal life from the comfort of your own room. The Staff was amazing and friendly at all times. I will definitely return back soon.

We stayed at Simataa's on our way to Victoria Falls and we absolutely loved it. The Host is very friendly and proactive. The place is spacious, clean, well maintained with beautiful and serene surroundings. If you want to experience an authentic African home, this place is for you.
