Staying at this off-grid cabin in Pāhoa was an unforgettable experience! The place was peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush nature — a true escape from the busy world. We loved exploring the farm, meeting the animals, and enjoying the fresh eggs and farm basket. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, and the cabin had everything we needed for a cozy, sustainable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in a truly special setting!

Horse Cottage with Ocean Views, Mins to New Beach

RuoyangRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We met the cat, chicken, peacocks and horses during our stay. We arrived late at night and it was absolutely an adventure getting to the place, including driving past lava field and figuring out the gate/check-in in darkness. The morning view on lava field was stunningly beautiful. Our host cat was the friendliest cat we've ever met! Something to note is that due to its nature there were bugs present. Some flying ant/roach was climbing on the roof while we were laying on bed.

Summer Special Halemanu Coastal Jungle Eco-Retreat

Thank you Shanna and Molly for such a pleasant and magical stay! We found a true treasure on the Island that we enjoyed so much! It is a very cozy little house that has everything you need. It feels very different than any other places I stayed at. Here you feel the nature. You feel like you are a part of it: from a very beautiful and unique garden to a chorus of singing birds at night. The sky is so bright at night that you can clearly see all the stars. If I ever got back to the Island, without any doubt I would consider Shanna’s place! My personal advice: please don’t fly to Kona if you are staying here 😹 better book a flight to Hilo to save yourself a lot of time. Otherwise you will find yourself driving all day long (like I did lol) if you decide to explore the west side of the Island. Although, it still takes you about 50 min just to get to Hilo.
