A lovely, simple clean hotel where the staff were really friendly and helpful and an easy stroll to the beach.

Cheap. Nice location. Comfy big bed. Room smelt a bit damp is only drawback. Good shower. Good location.

This was genuinely one of our favourite places in all of Sri Lanka. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and just the sounds of nature. The room is very luxurious, from the big comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with a hot waterfall shower, it was perfect! Madhu’s hospitality was expectional, we were so well taken care of and felt at home right away! We had dinner on the terrace by the lake both nights and it was the most delicious and varied local food we’ve had! The breakfast was also fantastic! One of the highlights was when Madhu offered for us to borrow her paddleboard of the lake where we went round the lagoon at sunset and saw lots of widlife! A truly exceptional place, would definitely recommend!!

The stay with Igor and Michele was just nice. It is quietly located, the pool and the many seating areas invite you to relax. We had breakfast together and the whole atmosphere was super friendly and familiar. We would definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

This is a fantastic AirBnB house with a beautiful view of ocean, and with gardens, pool, and covered terrace. You are walking distance to two beaches and some good restaurants. The people that take care of the house, Nuska and Kumara, are really wonderful. They are very attentive, bring you fresh juices throughout day, and cook delicious meals. The breakfast is included but lunch and dinner can be served at cost (which is way cheaper than restaurants and at least as delicious). We spent a week here and that wasn’t enough…it really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

At first - super fast communication with host. It makes everything much easier! Thanks for that. Everything was good at the end, just a little minus - when we arrived at evening pool was dirty. Also on next morning there was varan (big lizard) swimming - but our kids will say that it’s a plus :)) After we asked about the pool it was immediately cleaned. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was really great. We recommend this place! No worries about the pool we swim and everything was good :)) Beautiful view!

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

The hotel is located on a rather quiet beach where you can both swim and surf. The staff was very friendly, the room clean, the bed very cozy and the view from the balcony really nice. At breakfast, we would have liked a little more variety.

We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

Unlimited fresh water, whether in a carafe to bring to the room or from a filtered fountain. The only small annoying detail would be the catering. It's good, but we found it quite expensive and not very well-stocked compared to restaurants. But given its location and proximity to other restaurants, it's really ridiculous. And then, once you've passed the entrance doors, you feel like you're in a different place. It is very pleasant to stay there, such serenity between the pool, the swings, the hammock, the dining tables, the setting etc.

We had such a great stay at mates villa! It’s a gorgeous space, and we loved using the pool and enclosed yard every day. As it’s newly opened, the rooms, kitchen and overall property is in pristine condition. Really good value for what we paid and would love to stay again next time we visit. Special shoutout to the hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming, and even helped us book a taxi to our next destination. Thank you!

This place is so beautiful and looks just like the photos! It’s right on the beach and the the sound of waves is just so beautiful! You wake up to the most amazing view from your bedroom. Totally reccomend it. It’s on the main road and very easy to find. You can walk to the local markets and restaurants or take a tuk tuk. Will surely come back again!

This place is amazing! We really enjoyed our time here in this dreamy location! The breakfast was one of the best we had in the area with home-baked treats and amazing service.

This place is located along the main road therefore easily accessible and have ample parking space. We travelled during a weekday and on a discounted rates which is very reasonable for the facilities. Very friendly team and accomodated late check in and let us go out and come back hazzel free. It was a pleasent one night stay for us.

Wow what a clean, attractive and peaceful place to stay. Piumi and Rohan were amazing hosts. They were friendly, helpful and keep the place clean and tidy. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Piumi and Rohan.

Great room, clean, everything works, linens and towels are fresh, the condo is powerful, there are no insects, they give adapters for sockets and a router if the wifi does not pull. The staff is trying very hard to help, respond to any detail and try to think ahead.

We felt very comfortable with Magda and Domi. The two welcomed us in a very friendly way and gave us good tips for the area. The room was beautiful and very clean. The common areas were very spacious and there was nothing missing. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it and around it:) and our daughter also loved the trampoline. All in all, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Sri Lanka.

We absolutely LOVED staying at NETS. The room was beautiful and clean and the common areas were comfy. The pool was great to use on a lunch break. The co-working space was brilliant, easy to access and you can book separate rooms for meetings. The staff were amazing! Very nice room with high ceiling and big windows and a nice view of the river. The large bed is very comfy. Unfortunately no A/C, but well tolerable at night with ceiling fan. No cooking facilities, but cheap restaurants within walking distance. The family is very nice - and uncomplicated when changing the reservation.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the location is absolutely perfect, very close to Hiriketiya Beach and the apartment itself is stunning! The staff on reception were brilliant, so kind and helpful. I’d recommend Patrycja’s place to anyone staying in Hiriketiya!

We stayed a good week at Casa Smeralda's place. It was like coming home. The owner is social and has done a drink with us. The staff is super friendly and feels like family. Maybe because they were so sweet to our son (1.5) years. The swimming pool is nice and clean, the garden too, it is directly on a nice quiet beach where you can swim in the sea and close to the busier Hiriketiya where you will find many eateries and bars. Tuktuk is only 5/8 minutes. The food here is delicious and the price is completely accurate with the service that is provided. Hundred percent recommend and hopefully we'll come back sometime.

We loved staying at your airbnb! It was the perfect ending to our trip. Sad we had to leave! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Hikkaduwa!

Thank you for the wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and you could tell they worked as one team. This place became a true source of warmth and friendship for me. Every evening, they asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day. When I got sick, they brought me plenty of tea with lemon without asking for anything in return. They organized a whale watching tour at a price lower than other excursion providers. I felt completely comfortable and safe.
