Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Kalathas

Excellent location, wonderful host and the amenities are as described. Litsa was so welcoming, gave us homemade bread/cake and also shared homemade lasagne with us. she also offered some toys for our little one and beach towels for us during our stay. highly recommend for the experience and location as restaurants and old town are a very short walk away. koum kapi beach is a 5 min walk as well. couldn't recommend enough..

Was a really beautiful apartment, so peaceful.

Being a host myself, I am super attune to the details. This space is perfectly situated right on the water's edge with gorgeous Juliette balconies and large French doors that let the ocean breeze in. The driver let us off near the main square and we walked along the water with baggage in tow. Directions were spot on...great way to 'make an entrance' into this amazing gem of a spot. The space was perfect and had everything we needed to decompress and relax. The town has everything you need from restaurants to historical ruins to little shops. 4 days was not near enough to explore all the little streets. The cohost, Silver, was beyond amazing and accommodating. We didn't pre-plan any excursions until we arrived. When we decided on an itinerary she was on it with recommendations AND connections to make it all happen. We were treated like family. What else could you ask for?! 5-stars plus plus. Hope to return!

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Mariza’s place is a great spot to have a little distance from the city of Chania, about 15 minutes away by car. It was comfortable and has a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time on the patio and found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a dinner in. It’s walking distance to Koukouvaya cake shop and only a 2 minute drive from Carte Postale, an incredible restaurant. Mariza and her mom were both friendly, communicative and accommodating.

Maria's place was wonderful! It perfectly suited all our needs: a designated car parking space; quick and easy access to both Chania old town and the motorway (making west coast beaches very reachable); privacy (with your own outside area); seperate air-con in the bedroom and the living space; all the amenities you might need (washing machine and hair dryer) and even unexpected extras like Maria's homemade hot pizza, chocolate treats, sweets and raki that were waiting for us after our late flight in! We immediately felt welcome! 💙 Maria herself was so warm and caring. She was always on the end of a message if we ever had any questions or needed recommendations, and she even dropped off fresh vegetables from her garden for us to enjoy. She really went above and beyond our expectations! 🩵 This is a gem and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Chania.

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

the most special airbnb i have ever stayed in. the place is exactly as you see in the pictures, a two story loft with a nice terrace, beautifully decorated. the location is also great, with a small beach right in front, lots of good restaurants ( a couple of great ones) but without the neighborhood being to loud or crowded. its also walking distance to the loud old town.

Christina was incredibly responsive, making our stay even better. We loved receiving her recommendations for fantastic local restaurants. The home was nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from the main tourist spots, which was perfect. It was easy to pop in and out during the hotter parts of the day. Plus, the house itself was spacious and provided a comfortable retreat after long days of exploring.

we stayed in mid may 2025 for 9 nights the apartment is modern even usb charging sockets built in air con excellent Jacuzzi comfortable for 4 adults kitchen easy for cooking main balcony around 25feet by 12 feet with 2 sets of comfortable seating two lovely bathrooms even a dishwasher. Restaurants are 10 min walk as well as coffee shops etc. There are 3 large supermarkets 5mins drive and Chania is 15 mins drive by car and around 3 - 4 balconies NETFLIX and GOOD WIFI oh and did I mention the VIEW you WILL NOT BE WATCHING THE TV sunsets and vino . You will be living amongst local families and parking is outside. On our travels we like to have a modern apartment with large balconies and amenities near this apartment DELIVERED many thanks for the host for having us and best wishes to you all Declan and Mari

Thank you so much for everything ! We had a great time staying at Despina‘s apartment. The family was lovely and we have received great recommendations what to do during our stay. The apartment itself was clean, cozy and well equipped even for long time stays (we had a total of 9 nights at Despina‘s apartment). We could warmly recommend this place to you!

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would definitely do it. Mary and her husband welcomed us very warm and we could really see, that they did everything to make us feel comfortable. The apartment made the Chania experience even better and if we ever come back we will be glad to rent it again! We can only recommend it. They really didn’t promise too much, when they told us that the view from the apartment is MAGICAL!

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Our stay in Chania's sweet ground-floor apartment was outstanding. The place itself is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bed is extremely comfortable. This was our first trip with our baby, and we had absolutely everything we needed—changing mat, crib, a small chair with a table for the baby to play, baby bath, towels, rocking chair, books, toys...we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities provided, including after-bite cream for babies! We were also delighted by the owners' hospitality. Upon arrival, we found fresh fruit, wine, beers, refreshments, and delicious local sweets waiting for us. They stayed in touch, often recommending beaches to visit and activities tailored to our preferences. The hosts showed genuine care, always helpful and kind. We would love to come back if we get the chance. Highly recommended!

Great location. Really great quality apartment. Cozy and comfortable.

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.

We loved this apartment! It was beautiful and the private parking was super helpful! Walking distance to a ton of restaurants. Katerina was very responsive and checking in was easy! Would definitely stay here again!
