This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

Quite and serene place to relax and unwind. Pahia town center is about 30 minutes drive. Experienced beautiful night sky full of stars.

We loved our stay at Grants place. The house is on the most peaceful street with the beach and a sand dunes walk right next door. We loved watching the sunrise from our bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and we made delicious meals and ate on the deck with a view. Clean and spacious throughout. We had many things to see in the north and this was a great location to do so and the recommendations from Grant were great. What a gem location! Grant was great to deal with from beginning to end and the price can’t be beat. I highly recommend this lil slice of paradise to anyone coming to see the north or just anyone looking for a peaceful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at this property. Apart from the views (which are amazing) the accommodations were fantastic and well maintained. This is somewhere I would definitely stay again if I am back in Paihia.

Amanda’s Hideaway was exactly what we needed — peaceful, comfortable, and pet-friendly! A huge bonus was being able to bring our fur babies, The space was cozy and well-kept, and Amanda was fantastic to communicate with throughout our stay. She also shared some great local tips that made exploring the area even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a pet-friendly getaway in the far northwest north!

We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

Anika was a fantastic host and the house is close to so many cute shops and cafes.

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

Russell is an INCREDABLE place . Spectacular. We sat on Main Street for hours . Loved it so much we stayed another night. Kiwis on the property!!!! Shane was a ripper bloke . Could not have been nicer . His local knowledge was Olympic class. I could have slept on a rock and would have loved the Russell experience. Beautiful harbour.

I wanted a place that was quirky and this was it The caravan bedroom was very comfortable Kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed Having the yard fenced was great for my furbaby although she did like playing with the resident Labs!!! Loved walking along the beach watching the Kite surfers We didn't need to leave the property Having Netflix available was a treat as weather was very unpredictable!! Would love to return in summer!! A 5 star host!!!

We loved our stay. The accomodation is tucked away and private,very warm and comfortable. It was amazing waking up to the view of green fields and citrus trees. The beds were comfy, the house was warm and Ingrid is an amazing and very responsive host. would definitely recommend staying here

My stay in Evi the bus has been nothing other than extremely pleasant. Andrea and her husband John are very kind, welcoming people and their dog Bruno is a real sweetheart. The bus itself is very comfortable and precisely like the pictures represent. The location is perfect for exploring the area (Waitangi, Russell, Paihia) and even for making a trip towards Cape Reinga. The hospitality has been heartwarming and even late at night when I was in need of some help, Andrea came over to assist me. Plus, she even gave me a nature lesson with some very interesting facts about the nightlife and the sounds we could hear outside. Hearing a Kiwi-sound, a Morepork owl and seeing the galaxy extremely clearly from right outside the bus has been an amazing extra. Thanks again for the wonderful few days!

If it were possible we'd give this place 10 stars! You won't regret staying here, at your own private slice of Taupo Bay paradise. Whether you're just a couple or with a big group of friends, Gary and Debbie's place is perfect for you. Brilliant communication from area experts. We hope to be back soon 😊

A lovely haven with uncomparable views and a very luxurious and charming cabin. If you get the chance to stay here you must. Communication with Paul was smooth and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. we loved exploring the area around the accommodation and the beaches and walks nearby. This is a very special part of NZ. Rarely do you see such well equipped accommodation, so many extras.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was me, my partner, my sister, her partner, and their newborn — and the space was perfect for all of us. The house was fresh, clean, and beautifully maintained. Being right on the beach made it even more special — private, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The host went above and beyond by providing breakfast items and treats, which we really appreciated. There were also heaps of games available, which we definitely made use of and had a lot of fun with. You can really feel the care that’s gone into creating a welcoming and comfortable space. We’d definitely love to come back — highly recommend!

We had a lovely time away in Taipa exploring the area and heading up north to 90 mile beach, Cape Reinga etc. Was lovely to come back to Noeline’s place at the end of the day where lots of little helpful things had been provided and thought of. A little home away from home. Noeline was super responsive and helpful when we needed her. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend.
