Roadrunner Ranch was a magical place to stay. Great communication from Rob and a lovely home that matched the description. We were not disappointed.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

Great peaceful location perfect for our size of family. Parking is a little tricky with four cars but manageable. Loved the view and landscaping. We felt very safe and at home in this place. Thank you for memories.

The Dell is beautiful and private. James was professional and easy to work with. There are loads of amenities: big screen TVs, robes, and makeup mirrors in every room. There are comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool and hottub were clean and there were plenty of towels. The Dell is surrounded by wildlife, we had rabbits, quail and roadrunners visiting. There was even a blood orange tree that provided some fruit for breakfast. The Dell had some homey features such as plenty of blankets and an impressive collection of Fiesta Ware. This place is perfect for a houseparty with a family or four couples.

We canceled our plan to go to the zoo because my kids love this place so much—they just want to stay here and play, and they don’t even want to leave.

Selvi was a great host and responded so quick always less than 20 minutes. It’s a great place since it’s only 20 minutes away from San Diego and about less than an hour away from San Clemente. I definitely will be coming back and recommend it to everyone!

We had the most incredible stay for my laid-back Bachelorette weekend! The home was exactly as described - a peaceful mountain getaway with stunning views from every window. It felt secluded, yet was just minutes from downtown Julian. The house was spacious and cozy, with super comfy beds and an amazing hot tub that we all loved. We saw tons of wildlife (including a bold raccoon who stole my mom’s flip flops!) and felt completely relaxed the whole time. David and Lisa were outstanding hosts. They left snacks and water, stocked the bathrooms with thoughtful extras like toothbrushes and toothpaste, and were so communicative before, during, and after our stay. The video directions made getting there easy, and they truly made us feel at home. My group is already talking about coming back. I can’t recommend this place (or these hosts!) highly enough. Thank you, David and Lisa, for helping make such a special weekend even more memorable!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful location! From the clean interior to the peaceful nature outdoors, my family had an amazing vacation. Danny went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and so much fun. I highly recommend this spot when in the Julian area!! We loved the hiking, the pond, the game room and the jacuzzi!! Neil and Bonnie's retreat cottage was truly an amazing experience! From the moment we made the reservation to the time we left we felt well taken care of . Word can't describe the true beauty of this place it is a must see and stay! Very peaceful and relaxing experience. Just a 2 mile drive and you're in downtown Julian, where we had a good hearty breakfast at the Julian Cafe and Bakery. Volcan Retreat is everything stated the the description but more. Clean, quiet, and private a perfect place for a romantic getaway but also a place for the family. We will definitely be staying here again this I believe is even more beautiful in the snow.

My wife and I had a very relaxing time at this luxurious and breathtaking location. It was a beautiful home with a magnificent birds eye view of the enitre valley. The hosts were very kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions. All in all, a memorable experience the we joke about because it must have been some kind of dream. Great stay! Everything was as shown/described - clean with pretty much everything you can need. The area felt safe and had great restaurants nearby. Instructions and expectations were super clear - we would stay again!

Very nice and quiet home close to town but far enough away to be more private. The house was well maintained with lots of windows and an abundance of natural light. Jayne was very communicative, friendly, and helpful.

We used this spot for our staff retreat and it was amazing! We loved how spacious this place is, the views, the location, and everything felt comfy and cozy. The host is so great! They were quick to respond and adjust whatever we needed and were so easy to work with! Everyone in our group was so excited when they walked in the house and felt really encouraged by how nice it was. I loved how many bathrooms there were too. We spent a lot of time on the porch by the fire pit! Definitely want to come back again!

Kevin was an amazing host! He went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. We forgot to bring our pack and play crib for our 1 year old and Kevin ordered a brand new one and it arrived the very next day! The property was very peaceful and my kids loved having the chickens nearby. Kevin even provided us with eggs from the chickens and we had a great breakfast that next morning eating fresh eggs! The home itself was very cozy and my family of 7 fit perfectly. Very clean and had everything we needed and Kevin was always there if we needed something extra. Was located in a nice area away from the business of San Diego but close enough that we were only 35 minutes from Mission Beach. I’d definitely recommend staying here and will be coming back next time I’m visiting San Diego.

Excellent location which met our needs. Cute and cozy with a large great room. Dennis was very communicative by responding quickly to any questions that we had during our stay. We enjoyed our stay as we came into town for a family wedding.

It was such a memorable experience! My family and I loved the gaming table especially air hockey and ping pong. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and grilling while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Roberta was very kind and attentive. Definitely will book again!

One of the nicest Air BnB's that we've rented! Had everything in the house we needed. Secure in gated property. 3 cute donkeys that came and greeted us when we walked up to their gate. Peaceful views from deck, great to drink coffee in the morning and look out on the rolling hills.

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My family had a great stay! Perfect location with dozens of restaurants and attractions within minutes from the house. Ian has clear instructions for everything. Hardly had to contact him. Would definitely stay again when back in SD.
