Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

60 m2 apartment located under our home. In the Ardéchoise nature, possibility to park the vehicle in the courtyard. Independence and comfort assured. Pool not covered and not heated, fenced and common open from May to September depending on the climate. Close to shops, municipal swimming pool, rivers, kayaking, canyoning, climbing, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, mushroom foraging, skiing, via ferrata... Plenty of villages to visit. Welcome with pleasure.

A large terrace with barbecue in front of the entrance, overlooking the valley, leads into the living/dining room of this very comfortable, fully renovated 45 m² cottage. Fully equipped integrated kitchen (ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, electric oven, etc.). A bedroom equipped with a 160 x 200 bed + baby cot (baby kit). Living room area with sofa bed 140 x 190. Separate toilet and large walk-in shower. Flat-screen TV with TNT and Wi-Fi. And a parking space.

This old barn dating from the 15th century was a silk factory! With an area of 75 square meters, it is composed of a large living room with open kitchen, sitting area with sofa bed, wood-burning stove..., and upstairs a large bedroom with bathroom. Small extra sofa bed in the bedroom if needed Overlooking the gardens and pool, you have direct access to the Esplanade du Tilleul for outdoor dining, and the rest of the gardens, with direct access to the forest.

Ardèche stone house with character at 350 m altitude,located in an exceptional setting, with panoramic views and very quiet. In the middle of nature, lined with vine, pine trees and chestnut trees, our house will delight your stay. Ideal for hikes, swimming in the rivers, rest and especially shared moments in the cottage( swimming pool, barbecue, large games room,...). Only in summer, an outbuilding (room+W.C/sdb) will allow possible isolation for couple.

It is located upstairs, for four adults, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. 48 m2 living room, with fully equipped open kitchen, relaxation area with 127 cm TV, air conditioning. 35 m2 master suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, separate toilet, air conditioning. 30 m2 mezzanine. Both beds are 160 X 200. Private terrace with Weber barbecue.

Our former 3-star silk factory is located at the crossroads of the Cévennes and Ardèche regional parks, close to rivers and character villages. Vallon Pont d'Arc and its cave are 30 minutes away.

The "Les Pierres Hautes" gîte is an independent accommodation adjoining our house: an old rehabilitated stone barn. The green environment is quiet: the property has a lavender field as well as more than 50 olive trees. An external staircase provides access to the cottage.
