Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Joyeuse

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

Great stay at Aeric and Caroline's! Incredible farmhouse in a typical Ardeche setting. Eric and his son were very nice and we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. We loved it.

We spent 3 wonderful days in Angelique's lovingly furnished apartment. There was nothing missing. The location is very nice, surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields in picturesque countryside and beautiful villages. Angelique is a great and very attentive host. Thanks a lot!

We had a wonderful stay in the village of Naves, the location of the house is ideal. This village is a haven of peace, you'll want to settle there..! This pretty house, very atypical, is carefully decorated and very well-equipped. A huge thank you to Frédérique for hosting us and for his trust. For families, there are plenty of activities to do in the area with children: walks, swimming, cave visits, tree climbing.

We had a great time, the setting is beautiful with a beautiful view and tranquility, the accommodation is perfect and well decorated, we enjoyed the plancha, the jacuzzi and the pool. The host is super responsive to any requests. i highly recommend this place.

We had a great 2 weeks at Steeve's. I came with my husband and our dog to recharge our batteries and go on beautiful hikes. The house and garden are very well furnished. The pool, jacuzzi, and petanque court were very much appreciated! Steeve was great, very responsive to every message, he even dropped off charcoal so we could have a bbq. We can only recommend it! Thanks to Steeve for his kindness, we'll be back with pleasure!

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

We had a great time in a beautiful house, very clean and surrounded by a nice garden. The location is ideal for exploring Labeaume and the dolmens on foot. Hélène, our hostess, was very welcoming, available and pleasant in our exchanges. We felt very welcomed and would happily recommend this place!

Christelle's apartment is very nice: large, modern, bright, very well equipped and comfortable, carefully decorated. The bedding is of quality and the bathroom is perfect. The stay at Colibri was lovely. Shops and small producers nearby, picturesque walks. The Wednesday market is not to be missed. Love at first sight for this peaceful and so friendly corner of Ardèche. Like Christelle and Laurence, very attentive and available. The quality of the hospitality was so valuable. One goal: to come back soon!

Great spot to stay in the Ardeche! The house is clean and well located between Ruoms and labeume - which are both beautiful! There’s also amazing walks and river swimming spots within 5 mins walk. The house is modern and very clean and comfortable. You could not ask for more from an Airbnb host - Cathy was responsive and very pleasant to communicate with

Rafael was a very welcoming and accommodating host in terms of check-in and check-out times. He gave us clear information for our stay. The space was clean and matches the photos. We (Ellen and Hans) are retired and stayed here for a month to avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life It turned out to be a beautiful location and exactly as indicated in the listing. Far from the inhabited world so groceries etc. you had to plan. But peace in abundance. Great host Kris and Greta, were there if you needed them but never intrusive. After a month the feeling of having a bunch of friends with it. Also have a sweet “social ” dog. Our dog Beer clearly had a friend at Loulotje's

Janet and Philip were great hosts providing us with the history of the amazing location and its renovation. Every room was spotless and was exactly as described in the posting. It was a great convenience to have breakfast, snacks, and drinks provided. Staying at the castle was breathtaking and was a dream come true for our teenager. It is highly recommended.
