We visited for the 2nd time with our children. We liked it very much again, the children did not want to leave. Everything you need is there. Richarda and her family are very pleasant hosts and the garden, the animals and the pond were the highlight for us.

We stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment for 2 days at short notice. One should not be deterred by the external appearance of this "high-rise building". The apartment is small but every inch is used very thoughtfully. The furnishings look high-quality and clean and modern. The balcony is also great, equipped with sliding glass windows and cozy lighting. In the morning you can also have a wonderful breakfast in the sun there. The beach can be reached within a few minutes by foot. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Jutta and Hartwig's lasted 9 days and it was 9 days in a wonderful apartment that corresponds 100 percent to the description. The hosts were very friendly, open-minded and always available to us when necessary from the first moment. The atmosphere in the stylish building is quiet, relaxed and extremely positive due to the many small, special, loving and carefully placed things and a constant journey of discovery for all the senses. The surroundings offer a new destination every day and the Elbe with the small sandy beaches is just "across the street." The sheep give the whole thing the impression of being on the North Sea, only that the "water" was always there. Since this was our first booking on Airbnb, we can only say that it was the best start you could ask for. The top rating is absolutely justified. We will be happy to come back!

Great place to spend the weekend. Everything important is nearby and you are not far from the beach. We liked it very much and the communication was flawless.

It was a wonderful mini-vacation and best of all, I was allowed to bring my cat. She also felt very comfortable right away. The apartment was really nice and big. The layout was perfect. Sabine was unbeatable as a host and very friendly. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. In the kitchen, basic ingredients for cooking were available (salt, pepper, oil) It makes sense to come by car, because there are great beaches to discover in the area and much more. An absolute highlight for us was the garden, where you could admire the starry sky in the evening. There was hardly any light pollution. Even the Milky Way was visible. Thank you dear Sabine for letting us be your guests. We will be happy to come back.

Our stay at this place was really enjoyable. There were six of us, three couples, and everyone was very happy with the accommodation, the amenities, the rooms and the surroundings. The furnishing style did not please everyone immediately, but it was basically varied. The kitchen, the bedrooms and the two bathrooms were particularly noteworthy. The surroundings are unique and delighted us all. In summary, a visit to Kollmar is definitely worthwhile. If you are a large family with up to four children, this house is ideal. The previous tenants Samuels & Ms. accommodation have already expressed a lot very nicely and aptly. Living in this so beautifully designed apartment with the appreciative antique details, the interior, the great kitchen, its extensive amenities, the beautiful view to the outside during the kitchen work and the stay in the old country was enriching. It was a stay and living that went beyond sobering convenience. The individual history of the house and its former residents were just as noticeable, like the current owners with their appreciation and attention to details and their ambitious working process of converting the house into a vacation rental. The proximity of the Elbe, wonderful evening sky, numerous possibilities through Hamburg , the old country, the wonderful old courtyards - everything has enriched our vacation, thank you to Samuel, wife and previous owner. We had a very nice stay.

Hi, First of all thanks to Johannes and his wife for letting us in their home . The entire place was perfect for us, as a family of 3. Everyone had his own room and the living room was a great place to spent time during the day. The bathroom was a dream, especially the bath tube after a cold and rainy day. You can relax in the tube after a long bike ride. Kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect to hop on your bike and get going along the Elbe. For sure we will visit again. A place with wonderful energy. Very quiet location, good starting point for activities on foot or by bike. Extremely clean apartment, fantastic view from the living room. Equipped with everything, we didn't miss anything and experienced the time there as a gift. Thank you to the uncomplicated hosts and can only recommend a stay without reservation.

A sweet cottage and very clean. Everything you need. A nice quiet corner there. I really liked the outdoor area with the covered terrace. We felt very comfortable but unfortunately we had to leave earlier for personal reasons. This place is highly recommended.

This location is beautiful and relaxing. I will miss it as I continue onward with my travels. One thing I would have done different is to purchase a week long pass for the Ferry ride. My travels include using the Ferry daily but that is not the case for everyone. Also schedule additional time for travel using the Ferry because you may not get on the Ferry boat immediately due to the amount of cars waiting. I would anticipate an additional half hour for travel. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and even heard a Cuckoo bird. Fun. I would consider staying there again.

We were greeted befittingly by a flock of sheep. The ambience of the house overwhelmed us from the first moment. Extremely tastefully renovated and very stylishly furnished. The large kitchen with the coarse stone floor, as in the entire first floor, has a special charm. Thanks to underfloor heating, it is also very pleasant to walk barefoot.

Tropical Paradise is an oasis, great flat, fantastic hosts and a perfect base to visit Hamburg! Be sure to bring your dub playlist, as we did :)

A really nice small apartment. The location is really good (on foot to the core of Duhnen maybe 5 min), everything was sparkling clean, the kitchen is very extensively equipped and the bed linen and towels provided impeccable. The contact is very nice and gives many extensive tips and is always up for a chat 🥰 All in all, we will definitely remember the place and would be happy to come back

Very very nice hosts, good and easy communication, the reception was great, we would receive a friendly welcome, everything was shown to us, explained and also given recommendations for activities. the apartment itself corresponds to the description, you have everything you need. We requested the vacant accommodation in Cuxhaven at short notice. - Everything went quickly, uncomplicated and factual. Price/performance ok, and right on the beach (so 200m over the dike to the sea - if not low tide in the mud flats... ) and also bus stop with 20-minute intervals to Cuxhaven train station and port right in front of the house. - Everything is ok, as described. - The place is very clean and properly furnished. The landlady lives nearby, but not directly in the house - so easily accessible if things need to be taken care of. Overall - it was a very nice getaway. Thank you.

My son and I were with our dog for the first time at the North Sea. The apartment is in a great location, within walking distance the Trischendamm is easy to reach, also sometimes briefly to fly kites or collect shells, long walks through sheep meadows on the dike… quiet and relaxed, the mini golf course right next door, in the evening we played cards by the fireplace, very cozy. Our dog also felt comfortable immediately. In the apartment everything was available, very clean. Bianca always answered messages promptly if any questions arose. We will definitely be back and can clearly recommend the apartment.

Very nice location with lots of greenery and good air. The terrace and the view of the Elbe are unbeatable. The apartment is spacious and bright. Kitchen well equipped, but pure cooking kitchen without windows. Bathroom very large and bright. Large bedroom, on the street. But you can sleep quietly at night (core time about 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.), then cars and minibuses passing by here and there. Window for ventilation easy to open, but visible from the street and opposite houses. Living room wonderfully large and bright, view of the countryside and the Elbe. However, "couching and TV" should not be the focus of the stay. The furnishings are individual, rather rustic and in keeping with the style of the house.
