Peaks Island stays with 2 night minimum

JoelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Rhonda is the coolest, chillest host I have ever had. She made an amazing recommendation for parking on the mainland, and even offered us umbrellas to use when it started raining during our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, well-maintained, and stocked with towels and other amenities.

Freeport, Maine

ZihanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Sandy and the family are all amazing! We came a bit later in the evening and their son helped us with the bags and getting in which we really appreciate. The room and bathroom are all really clean and you got everything you need. Great coffee as well^^ We had so much fun exploring the home garden and even played a little basket ball in the front. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to experience a little local Maine living. Thank you for a great time!

Mast Landing Cottage

Great location. Everything needed close by but a woodsy atmosphere. In one direction you can drive to Freeport or in the other direction, you can drive out the necks to fishing villages. David close by so responsive to questions.

Large, spacious, and eclectic Room, Private Bath

This is our second time staying at Gail’s. It’s a quick drive to downtown, industrial way, and where we went kayaking on the east end of Portland. We had everything we needed at Gail’s (coffee, milk, mini fridge, microwave, and more). We love Portland and will absolutely stay with Gail again.

Mid Coast Getaway w/ water views

KristenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic stay this past weekend. Easy to find and flexible with check in. I got there an hour earlier than expected and it was no problem for me to go in early. Felt safe being a solo traveller. The views were insane! So so peaceful. Some considerations: Some outdoor comfortable seating would've been great. I could not lock anything because the locks of the sliders wouldn't open/close with the keys-I was afraid I would break a key off. So left wide open during the day. The couch, comfy, but stained. Only 2 towels were left-more would've been appreciated. I was freezing! So glad I brought an extra blanket. Leaky sink in kitchen. ZERO I mean ZERO water pressure-awful! Service is spotty in the area but the wifi was a big help. The price, views, communication, and flexibility cancels out any flaws of this place. With some TLC this place would be flawless. Thank you!

"Periwinkle" ~ a Charming Oceanfront Cottage

BenjaminRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay. If my kids had their way, we never would have left the house as they loved the private beach and all the toys available. It was perfectly situated close to the Portland Headlight and Two Lights Stare Park, and it was an easy drive into Portland when we wanted to head in for dinners and exploring. We loved listening to the sounds of the ocean as we drifted off to sleep and waking up to the beautiful views.

Grace Cottage

MaddieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Grace Cottage was the absolute PERFECT house for our visit to Long Island, ME. The cottage was exactly as described and even better in person. We had everything we could have possibly needed and then some, and everything was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. Steven was very responsive, as well as helpful and informative in all of our communications. Lorinda was also such a wonderful help to us in getting us to the property and making sure we had everything we needed once we arrived! Highly recommend the golf cart rental as there's really no need for a car on the island. We loved visiting the local Bakehouse to eat, the Boat House variety store for basic essentials, and the stunning local beaches - everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Overall it was an outstanding and incredibly memorable experience, and we can't thank Steven and Lorinda enough for being so accommodating. This cottage is a must-stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Bright and Minimalist Home!

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This space is charming and & homey and great for peace & quiet. There’s cool art all over the place & little amenities. Wonderful kitchen setup and backyard. Very clean as well! It’s directly next to Second Rodeo coffeehouse (big plus for me!!). Nature related activities are close by- you can walk to Bug Light Park or Spring point lighthouse (with abandoned military structures all around it!) a mile away. Willard Beach is only about 2 miles (you can run there no problem). Fort Williams is about a 8 min drive. For going into Portland downtown/Old Port, it’s an easy drive across the 77 bridge- roughly 10-15 anywhere that ways. Will attempt to stay here again. Recommend completely.
